This typical German apartment is simply furnished and located

in the heart of a newly emerging scene called Neukölln. It is a

two bedroom flat, one bedroom being a large, bright and com-

fortable guest room. The cosy kitchen is the heart of the apart-

The hostess has travelled a lot herself and therefore she is

very cosmopolitan and hospitable.

Neukoelln is currently going through an image change from a

deprived area to an up and coming area for young profession-

nals. Within the area one can find great little restaurants, ice

cream parlors and cake factories with lovingly selected foods

and exceptionally tasty menus.

Also worth knowing... Around the 'Reuter-Kiez' a vibrant club scene has recently grown, small galleries have opened and lovely pubs and bars are now welcoming their guests warmly. The 'Körnerpark' nearby is certainly worth a visit and so is the flea market around the area of 'Maybachufer' and the weekly market at 'Kottbusser Brücke' directly on the river Spree in Berlin.

Our apartment at 'Mexicoplatz' is located in the south of Berlin.

The bright, spacious apartment is very cosy and you will find

the rooms to be highly interesting and worth discovering.

Bookcases stretch from floor to ceiling and the exciting choice

of books is unbelievable! There are single and double rooms

available here; meals included. Further facilities of the apart-

ment are a balcony, TV, internet and of course a kitchen.

The host enjoys a lot of private hobbies next to working every

day - guests are easily feeling at home here and a lot of our

previous guests mentioned having had very interesting conver-

Six S -Bahn stops from 'Mexicoplatz' is the beautiful town of Potsdam offering a wide range of beautiful boat and/or day trips through the countryside around Ber-lin. Only one S-Bahn stop away from the apartment is the station 'Zehlendorf ' where a range of fantastic shopping and dining is endless. _________________________________________________________________________

Example of accommodation 6 A family of four is at home in this apartment at 'Solon-

platz' in Berlin Weissensee. The apartment is cosily

decorated and the facilities offer the use of the large

family kitchen and their living room. Our guests pre-

viously enjoyed the family orientated living at this

apartment and were often included as members of the

family whilst staying. The family is very welcoming and

enjoys involving their guests in conversations, cooking,

meal times and cosy DVD evenings. There is a single

room available here.

The family is very sociable and often welcomes friends

and family to their home; they are interested in music in general and travel a lot. The two children visit

the nursery daily and follow a routine during the day and of course bed time.

One of the interesting things to do amongst other things is visiting the park near 'Weissensee' with its open-air theatre, the famous milk house, the bread factory (art and culture with a stage and cinema), the Jewish cemetery and the cine-ma Toni. The lake 'Orankesee' and the beach on 'Weissensee' are easily accessible by foot.




This charming apartment is located at Winterfeldtplatz in Berlin

Schöneberg. Guests enjoy a large bedroom with their own bal-

cony here whilst the host lives in the smaller of the two rooms;

kitchen and bathroom are located between the two bedrooms

which provide further privacy for each person.

Our hostess is a friendly and warm hearted person who often

maintains contact to her guests long after their departure.

The nearby streets 'Winterfeldtstrasse' and 'Goltzstrasse' offer a good selection of traditional German

pubs and clubs, multicultural restaurants, a variety of shops selling individually designed items and

antique shops. 'Maaßenstraße' is a small shopping area within walking distance as well and walking

down this street will take you to the very central underground station 'Nollendorfplatz'. The famous

'Kurfürstendamm', the Victory Column in 'Tiergarten' and 'Potsdamer Platz' are easily accessible from

there.

with garden and has always worked very closely with free

'Friedenau' is characterised amongst other things by the

'Rheinstrasse' as a popular shopping street. Along with its

partially protected historic houses and gardens, the many

small residential streets have a quiet character.

Also worth knowing... In the 19th Century some small and medium-sized industrial companies were established in 'Friedenau'. The watchmaker and jeweller Hans Lorenz, for example, founded his business in 1874 on Rheinstrasse 59, which is still operated there, now in its fifth generation. The Berlin museum of Clocks is now integrated in the jewellers. There you can admire the 'Berliner Friedensuhr'. The area of 'Friedenau' has always attracted artists, writers, scientists and politicians. In the nearby cemetery numerous famous personalities are buried such as the actress Marlene Dietrich, the photographer Helmut Newton and the poet Paul Zech. Also worth seeing is the 'Little Theatre' with its 99 seats.




This charming apartment is located close to 'Savigny Platz'

in Berlin Charlottenburg, city centre of previous West Ber-

lin. The apartment compromises of a lovely guest room,

the hosts living area, a cosy kitchen and a balcony. The

host is a friendly person, who is very involved with the lo-

cal church and voluntary work related to it.

The adjacent streets 'Kurfürstendamm' and 'Tauentzien-

strasse' offer endless shopping opportunities with their

hundreds of shops – recommended is a visit at the famous

shopping centre 'KaDeWe', previous shopping centre of the West. However, if one is not keen on shop-

ping then a visit at the following places might be interesting: the popular 'Europa Center', the old fa-

shioned cafe 'Kranzler', Theatre of the West at the Berlin Zoo and its train station.

Example of accommodation 10 This spacious apartment is based in a newly refur-

bished typical German building located right in the

heart of Berlin. The floorplan of this flat is very suitable

for guests and host! The guest room is located right

next to the entrance hallway of the apartment, which

can be booked either as single or double room. A big

and bright hallway room serves as living room and

dining area – leading to the other side of the flat,

where kitchen and bathroom are based. Guests are

welcome to smoke in the kitchen.

The hostess and mum of a son living with her, speak

very good English and French and guests often enjoy interesting conversations with them.

This beautiful apartment is located in Lübars - in the

very North of Berlin. Lübars is one of the eleven dis-

tricts of Berlin Reinickendorf. The hosting family of

this apartment lives in a modern, one storey family

home. Guests are able to book the whole of the first

floor, compromising of two bedrooms and a fully

equipped kitchen. The hosting family and their dog

live on the ground floor of this beautiful house.

Lübars is a wonderful and very green little area. The

vast fields and meadows give you the feeling of vaca-

tion on the edge of a wonderful city.

The surrounding architecture of the buildings in the

area can be described as typical German - very de-

sirable old architecture due to the size and bright-

ness of the rooms. Right on the doorstep one will

find the famous shopping mile from reaching from shopping centre 'Schloss' to shopping centre 'SSC'!

There are numerous shops, restaurants and coffee shops. Not to be missed is the Botanical Garden.

This magnificent park is ideal for barbecues, jogging, biking, roller-blading, sunbathing, kite flying and for relaxing walks. The Grade II listed airport building however is purely used for special events such as festivals, concerts and fairs such as the famous BREAD & BUTTER events. _________________________________________________________________________

Example of accommodation 14 This charming apartment is located on the

ground floor. The guest bedroom is the larger of

the two bedrooms and is therefore suitable as a

double room. Other facilities available for use are

the lovely kitchen and a bathroom.

The area of this apartment is absolutely fan-

tastic and guests will be spoilt for choice when it

comes to things to do. There is the lively 'Berg-

mann-Kiez', ideal for fashion fans, people enjoying

a cocktail in great atmosphere and a fabulous

variety of multicultural restaurants. However,

sports enthusiasts will also not be disappointed

with the magnificent 'Tempelhofer Park'.

The shared flat located in Tempelhof already exists for many years

successfully. The huge apartment has a nice floor plan. Every room,

kitchen and bathroom open onto a 14-meter long, narrow hallway.

Single and double rooms, also with catering, can be booked. Small

groups have easily space. The two hosts are technically very gifted.

They put their heart and soul into their apartment. Their green

thumb complements any room.

For city lovers and sports enthusiasts of all kinds, the 18-acre na-

ture park 'Südgelände' and the huge park on the former airport

'Tempelhof' is absolutely worth mentioning.
