Welcome to Worship!

Let's join our hearts together ...

Encounter Christ

Experience Christ

Enjoy Christ

Exalt Christ

and Extend Christ’s Kingdom

For in Him we live and move and have our being...

(Acts 17:28)

Last week, the message focused on the fact that we

are Christ's Church and serve Him with our tithes, our talents and our touch.

Today, we will consider how

The Word of God

and

The Work of God

Go Together!

They came and began to work on the house of the Lord Almighty, their God.

(Haggai 1:14)

2014 Graduates

If you are graduating from either high school or college this spring or if you just graduated last

December, please be sure to write your name on the Graduates list on the church office bulletin

board. We are planning our graduation banquet for Sunday, June 1st. Please watch for more

details as the date approaches!

Note from the Carsons

Clarence & Lois Carson asked that we let their church family know that they appreciate the ways that you continue to show your love

and concern for them. They wanted you to know that they love you as well and miss being here with you!

Have you checked out our Church Community Bulletin Board? This board is located across from the library and features two

sections, “Can you use any of these things?” and “Can you meet any of these needs?” Our church family is welcome to use this

board to ask for or offer items and services that others may have or want. If you would like to post something on our bulletin board,

please make a sign that includes your contact info and turn it into the church office. All items are subject to board approval and will

be posted for a limited time. Thank you!

Volunteer Needed!

A member of our church family living in Uniontown is in need of a ride to the church

on Sunday mornings for worship service. Would you be interested in providing

transportation to Cherry Tree Alliance for this individual? If so, please contact Andrea in the

church office at 724-437-6850. Thank you for your consideration of this need.

Upcoming Event – Chili Cook-Off

Our church will be holding a Chili Cook-Off on Sunday, March 16th following the

worship service. Please mark the date on your calendar; we would love to have you

join us! Sign-up sheets for those who wish to make chili and those who plan to attend the dinner will be available next

Sunday in the foyer. Missions Group Potluck

Are you interested in discussing ideas for local outreaches? Would you like to be part of the

team organizing these events? If so, we hope you will attend our Missions Group Potluck on

Tuesday, March 4th, from 6:00-8:00 PM to join in our brainstorming session. If you plan to come, please see the

Republic. They are selling Blue Mountain Candles. Please check out the church bulletin board for prices and candle scents. If you have any questions about

the fundraiser or would like more details on the missions trip, please see Kristy & Jason Clements. Thanks!

AWANA Theme Night

AWANA Club Members: please note that this coming Wednesday, February 26th, is

Bible Character Theme Night! Please come dressed as a Bible figure that you love for a great evening of playing & learning together.

International Student Ministry

Penn State’s next English Corner for international students will be held this Saturday, March 1st at

Yough Lanes from 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM. This will be a fun time to introduce many students to bowling and give them an opportunity to be active during this dreary winter we’ve been having! Please feel free to just come out and cheer on the students or you may bowl with them if you like (there will be a fee to bowl). If you would like to bowl, please

RSVP to Gwen Shoaf at *contact church office for Gwen’s email* so she will know how many lanes to reserve. The group could use donations of pop, chips, desserts, fruit trays, or other snacks for this event; please

let Gwen know if you plan to bring any food items.

Yough Lanes is located at: 1045 University Drive

Connellsville, PA 15425
