THE SUPREME Court Collegiumhas recommended the names offour High Court judges for theirappointment as Chief Justices ofthe High Courts ofDelhi, MadhyaPradesh, Himachal Pradesh andTelangana. Two among them arejudges of the Gujarat High Court.

The Collegium, comprisingChiefJustice ofIndia Ranjan Gogoiand Justices S A Bobde and N VRamana, recommended Justice AA Kureshi for appointment as theChief Justice of the MadhyaPradesh High Court, while JusticeD N Patel has been recommendedas the Delhi High Court ChiefJustice. They will assume office af-ter the current incumbents retire.

Justice Kureshi is the mostsenior Judge from the GujaratHigh Court and is currently ontransfer to the Bombay High

Court. Justice D N Patel is a sen-ior puisne judge from the GujaratHigh Court and is on transfer tothe Jharkhand High Court.

Justice R S Chauhan, who is themost senior judge ofthe RajasthanHigh Court, has been recom-mended as the Telangana HighCourt Chief Justice. He currentlyfunctions as Acting ChiefJustice ofthe Telangana High Court. The res-olution, dated May 10, said the ap-pointment has become necessaryas the "office ofthe ChiefJustice ofthe Telangana High Court, whichhas recently been constituted as a

separate High Court for the Stateof Telangana, has been lying va-cant for some time".

The Collegium also clearedthe name of Justice VRamasubramanian as the newChief Justice of HimachalPradesh High Court. The currentChief Justice, Surya Kant, hasbeen recommended for eleva-tion to the Supreme Court.

Justice Ramasubramanian isthe most senior judge of theMadras High Court, and is cur-rently on transfer to theTelangana High Court.

The Collegium has also rec-ommended the names of twoadvocates for appointment asJudges of the Madhya PradeshHigh Court.

FORMER CHIEF financial officerofBhushan Steel, Nittin Johri, ar-rested by the SFIO on severalcharges of fraud, including filingfalse documents with variousbanks, on Monday moved theDelhi High Court seeking threeweeks interim bail on account ofhis mother’s “terminal illness”.

Justice Mukta Gupta, di-rected the Serious FraudInvestigation Office (SFIO), toverify medical records and sub-mit a status report on Tuesday.

Johri, who is in judicial cus-tody since May 8, said his motherhas been ill since March 2019and was “diagnosed with an ad-vanced stage of cancer on April8, 2019...”

Statement of Audited Financial Results for the Quarter and Year ended 31st March, 2019

Note :1. The above financial results have been reviewed by the Audit Committee and thereafter approved by the

Board of Directors of the Company in their respective meetings held on May 13, 2019. The audit asrequired under Regulation 33 of the SEBI (Listing Obligation and Disclosure Requirements)Regulations, 2015 has been completed by the auditors of the Company and the related report is beingsubmitted to the concerned stock exchanges.

2. The Company has bought back 23,07,700 Equity Shares of Rs.10/- each at a price of Rs.117/- pershare on 20th July, 2017 in due compliance of Sections 68 to 70 of the Companies Act, 2013 & applicable provisions of the Securities & Exchange Board of India (Buy Back of Securities)Regulations,1998 and accordingly the equity share capital has reduced to that extent. AccordinglyEarning Per Share has been calculated on the basis of Weighted Number of Equity Shares outstandingfor Quarter and for Year ended 31st March 2018.

3. With the applicability of Goods and Service Tax (GST) effective July 01, 2017, revenue from operationsis disclosed net of GST. Accordingly, revenue from operations and total expenses for the twelve monthsended March 31, 2019 are not comparable with the figures for the twelve months ended March 31,2018 presented in the above results.

4.
