Ewha Womans University Nomination Guide

1. NOMINATION (PARTNER UNIVERSITY) Ewha Womans University (Ewha) nomination uses an online nomination system to host exchange

students from partner universities worldwide.

Once you ‘submit’ your list of students to the nomination page, responsible Department or the

International Exchange Affairs team(Office of International Affairs, Ewha Womans University) will

‘confirm’ the nomination and notification will be sent to your email.

Please nominate students who are eligible for Ewha’s international exchange program only. Students

who do not meet the eligibility criteria will be rejected.

Check the eligibility requirements below:

1) Full-time undergraduate or graduate students in an accredited university or equivalent

2) Students who have completed at least one semester at home university with GPA of

2.5/4.0(75/100) or above

- An official transcript must be ready at the stage of application

- Graduate students must provide official transcript of graduate-level studies

Undergraduate level GPA is not considered. Graduate level students must complete

at least one semester at the stage of application.

- In case your university does not choose GPA system, Grading Conversion Table or

Confirmation Letter from students’ academic advisor/program coordinator should be

provided.

3) Students with language ability to take courses in either English or Korean

STEP 1. Click Ewha Nomination Link: Nomination-page

STEP 2. Choose English, Log-in with your ID and Password. (Password is the same with ID)

Please check your email to find your university’s ID/Password number.

STEP 3. You will find your university name on he left. Click on Nomination at the top of the

page.

STEP 4. Click on Nomination Enrollment (Spring, Fall) and fill in the Nomination Form.

You may add new columns by clicking ‘New’, and delete by checking a column and clicking ‘Delete’.

Please ‘Save’ your information while processing.

Please write down the address in detail. The address must include all information: the

office/building, university, and area/country. The visa document will be sent to the provided

address.

- Exchange: The student will be waived of fee for application and tuition

- Visiting: Fee-paying student

2. Insert student’s primary email address (email address that the student uses the most). The

email you provided will be used to verify student application. Please have the student use

the same email address at the stage of application.

- Capital Letters are recognized differently.

Make sure there are no typos or errors.

3. Select the level of study (Undergraduate/Graduate)

- This information is important for the student’s course registration.

Some courses only allow graduate students to take.

4. ‘Save’ and ‘Submit’ to finish the nomination.

- Please note, if you do not ‘submit’ the information, it will not be considered.

- Once you ‘submit,’ you cannot modify the information.

STEP 5. Check nomination result

You may check the results of your nomination on the ‘confirmation’ column by ‘Confirmed’ or

‘Declined. ’ You will also receive an automated reply via email once it is confirmed by the relevant

office.

Founded in 1886, Ewha Womans University is Korea’s very first higher education institution for women.

As a comprehensive research university, Ewha now has 14 colleges and 14 graduate schools including the traditional areas of strength, such as humanities, social sciences, pharmacy, law and arts, as well as new areas of excellence, such as science, engineering, and medicine with two affiliated cutting-edge hospitals.

Ewha welcomes both male and female students for non-degree exchange or visiting (study abroad) student programs.

Ewha is located at the heart of Seoul and students can gain firsthand experience of the capital city. The population of international students at Ewha is around 2,100.
