Evolution Traffic Control was founded in 2004 and has now established depots throughout Australia and New Zealand. In 2010 Evolution established and expanded its capabil ities to provide bridge joint and guard rail maintenance as well as becoming a Register ed Training Organisation. In 2015, Evolution aquired Action Traffic , an Auckland based TTM company and i n 2016, Evolution partnered with Surefleet Australia. With a diverse service, generating revenues in excess of $100m per year and a strong balance sheet , we can ensure our financial sustainability and long -term viability to cl ients.

Built on a foundation of customer relationships , delivering outstanding levels of customer service and operational outcomes, the Evolution ethos is to grow and develop the bu siness on a true national platform. This has so far been achieved through a mix of both organic and acquisit ion -based growth within services , directly and indirectly related to roads and public infrastructure within Australia and New Zealand.

Evolution has established depots nationally. Every depot is self -managed by a local operations manager, operations supervisor and a team of locally empl oyed traffic control staff. Our management philosophy is to, “manage locally and support nationally.” All our branches are managed successfully in this way.

Our depots are accountable for making day to day decisions whilst receiving national support across areas of training, safety, payroll, ICT and human resources. Staff for our client’s project works would be drawn locally and supported by our National Group. We listen to our cl ient ’s requirements and are passionate about providing outstanding custo mer service.

Traffic controllers are car efully assessed and inducted prior to undergoing an all -day induction program to ensure they are equipped to deliver exceptional service, heightened safety awareness, and are experienced in correct procedures of traffic control and administrative requireme nts.

Evolution will work with local and state authorit ies to obtain the right permits and approvals so that your works comply with all legislative requirements. Our planners use dedicated in dustry specific software to produce compliant and quality plans so that you can get the job done sooner. OUR FLEET

Evolution’s modern fleet of vehicles conforms to and exceeds relevant Australian and New Zealand standards. You can be confident that our investment in new vehicles, trucks, equipment and systems provides you with access to receive t he best equipment, training and standards available.

Evolution has the most state of the art vehicles within the traffic management industry. All vehicles have IVMS, forward facing camera, reverse camera, microphone, SD card and reverse sensors. We have enhanced the racking systems to improve access, security, storage of signage and equipment.

Our traffic control vehicles are all fully equipped with all required safety devices as per individual State and OH&S requirements. These vehicles are fitted with dual flashing amber beacons, towbars, first aid kits, f ire extinguishers and custom designed rackin g systems that comply with the Road Traffic Act.

Evolution supplies Truck Mounted Attenuators (TMA’s) for use in work zones in par ticular those requiring high speed traffic control and management. Now mandated by most road authorit ies on high speed roads, a TMA is an effective barrier that absorbs energy from a coll ision. They can be used in stationary or slow moving operations, including profiling, asphalt works, street sweeping, line marking, resurfacing, and in a number of other applications. Our TMAs have passed all mandatory and optional NCHRP 350 tests and provide an effective safety barrier for road workers. The majority of our TMA’s, along with all future purchases, are fitted with the new “Blade” Attenuator. These TMA’s are rated at 110km/h. Evolution is proud to be the first company in the southern hemisphere to adopt this latest technology.

OUR SIGNAGE

All signs and equipment used by Evolution are compliant with AS1742.3. Evolution has thousands of traffic management signs, cones, arrow boards, etc. ready meet the varying road conditions in each state. Our equipment, including arrowboards, portable traffic lights and VMS tr ailers can be hired daily, weekly or monthly with special rates available for long term hire. Evolution maintains and manages all of our own equipment, therefore we can su pply all your equipment needs, becoming your ‘one-stop shop’ for traffic control and management. Equipment is regularly audited via a Job Docket Risk Assessment form completed electronically, and Traffic Controller Assessments completed by Operations Supervisors. Damaged and soiled equipment is removed and replaced. Evolution has an extensive l ist of vehicle resources readily available with the abil ity to pull further resources from the National resource pool if and when required.

Evolution Civil Maintenance is a specialised civi l construction company employing qualified civi l engineers, project managers and qualified tradespeople to provide tailored , minor civi l construction projects.

Commencing business in 2003 as HMS Civil, Evolution Civil Maintenance was purchased by Evolution as a fully functional civil construction company. HMS Civi l was subsequently renamed Evolution Civil Maintenance to align with our company branding and our systems were integrated into national standards for Quality, Work Health and Safety and Environment. Evolution Civil Maintenance predominantly services an extensive footprint throughout Australia’s eastern territories.

Evolution Professional Services provides a ran ge of TTM services including Traffic Management Planning, Compliance and Auditing and Training.

At Evolve Training Academy we understand that not everyone understands traffic management training and that the current theory based classroom training does not deliver competency in the field. We have identified the key on -road competencies required , and developed a practical, competency -based standard pathway – specifically designed for the Tempor ary Traffic Management Industry. We are currently managing a number of prominent businesses ’ training for them – so that they have the t ime to get on with business. Your staff will gain: an understanding of health and safety, leadership and communication skil ls, driving training and licenses and TTM training. The end result is a complete Level 2/3 STMS’ of an industry -leading standard.

Our entire management system has gone from full paper to complete digital.
