Sterilised with gamma rays, this disposable suction valve enables aspiration of pleural effusion and blood from the instrument channel opening at the distal end of the scope when the button is pressed.
Sterilised with gamma rays, this disposable biopsy valve prevents body fluid from leaking and spurting from the scope’s biopsy port when it is mounted on the scope’s biopsy valve mounting plug.

The design of the control section of the LTF-260 is identical to that of
an Olympus bronchoscope, so if you’re already used to the grip
contours and switch layout of an Olympus bronchoscope, the
operation of the LTF-260 will be straightforward. For improved operability,
the length and outer diameter of the insertion section have been
optimised to ensure superior manoeuvrability in the thoracic cavity.
The LTF-260 can be connected to the Olympus EVIS video
processor*, allowing the user to perform both bronchoscopy and
pleuroscopy with existing Olympus video systems.

Compatibility to existing Olympus EVIS video system ensures flexibility
Familiar control section design maximises user operability
Designed to withstand autoclave and ETO gas sterilisation, this tray can be used when sterilizing the LTF-260.
MAJ-172 Sterilisation Tray
Designed for use with the LTF-260, the MAJ-1058 is made of advanced materials that provide just the right combination of flexibility and stiffness. The LTF-260’s insertion tube slides in the trocar’s lumen so smoothly that it even reduces stimulation to the intercostals. The MAJ-1058 also protects the bending section of the scope. A sterile, disposable design adds convenience.
Provided with rat-tooth alligator jaws that allow you to collect a large tissue specimen, this model performs superbly. Ideal for biopsying from an oblique angle thanks to a slip-prevention needle inside the jaws and a swing mechanism that directs the jaws to the target site.

Four switches are provided. Shutter release, freeze, video recording, and light metering can al l be control led from the scope’s control section. Function allocation for each switch is user-selectable so you can assign the combination of functions that best suits your preferences.

EVIS LUCERA PLEURA VIDEOSCOPE
OLYMPUS LTF TYPE 260
As simple to use as a bronchoscope, the LTF-260 supports the expanding
requirements of pleuroscopy
Designed to be mounted on the connector section of an autoclavable scope, this Water-Resistant cap h a s a c h e c k -v a l v e construction that allows it to be safely immersed in a solution and autoclaved.
Printed in Japan F1265SE-1207
Exceptional orientation capability inside the tight thoracic cavity provides a wide observation area and ensures outstanding treatment performance
The distal end of the LTF-260 can be angulated in two directions — 160°
up and 130° down. This gives you a significant amount of freedom to
manoeuvre inside the tight thoracic cavity, enabling you to observe a site
from a perspective close to frontal viewing, an approach that is difficult to
do with a rigid scope.
The LTF-260 is equipped with a 2.8 mm diameter channel that is suitable
for biopsies, aspiration of pleural effusion, and spraying of anaesthetic
while maintaining the endoscopic view.
The LTF-260 is compatible with both autoclaving and ETO gas
sterilisation for maximum sterility using a method that best suits your
requirement.
Compatibility with NBI TM (Narrow Band Imaging)
LTF-260 Rigid scope
160˚ 130˚
A semi-rigid scope designed to simplify pleuroscopy and facilitate a wider range of techniques, the LTF-260 optimises the advantages of both rigid and flexible scopes
OLYMPUS LTF TYPE 260
The high-resolution CCD incorporated into the distal end of the LTF-260
ensures exceptionally clear images with a wide field of view, while an
automatic light control function that couples the processor and light
source helps maintain optimum brightness for enhanced observation.
Moreover, because the distal end can be angulated, observation of the
parietal pleura around the puncture site is easy — something that is
normally difficult with a rigid scope.
Wide, clear observation images can be obtained even when the scope tip is retroverted to the parietal pleura
Two-way angulation design extends the range of observation
Large 2.8 mm diameter channel suitable for various treatment options
Autoclavable and compatible with ETO
In conjunction with the Olympus EVIS LUCERA SPECTRUM
video system*, NBI (Narrow Band Imaging) observation is
possible with the LTF-260. You can switch between normal
white-light imaging and NBI observation, which enhances the
surface of the pleura and vascular structures, by a simple touch
of a button on the control section of the LTF-260.
