EView/400iIBMi(iSeries-AS/400)ManagementforHPEOpera*onsManagementienablesinforma*onfromthemainframe environments to be displayed on an HPEOMi console. The EView agent collec*on sources spansystem, appl ica*on and network messages,performance, and resource u*liza*on data via systeminterface APIs. Local OSmessage filters extract cri*calsystem and network informa*on as specified by theadministrator. This informa*on isthensentviaTCP/IPandonly the specified subset of informa*on is sent tothemanagementconsole. Thesemessagescanincludeinforma*on about the opera*ng system, systemapplica*ons,suchas; DB2,MessageQueue,MQSeries,AuditJournal,JobStatus,Websphere,andmanyotherswhichareper*nenttotheIBMserverenvironments.EViewManagement forHPEOMiu*lizes theHPEBSMmonitoring automa*on component to check cri*calsystem metrics and provide alerts for condi*onsneeding a`en*on or providing the ability to performautomatedac*ons.
