Summer Camp Weekly Themes

Week 1: Camp Adventure

Grab your backpack and boots to kick off a

summer filled with FUN! Campers will start their

summer adventure exploring the Great Outdoors.

Week 2: Deep-Sea Dive

During Deep Sea Dive week, our campers will discover

what is below the ocean’s surface. From fins and fish, to

shells and sand, come with us on a journey deep below

the sea that will surely be “Wet and Wild.”

Week 3: Arctic Chill

This icy, arctic blast is sure to be “cool” with

exciting experiments and awesome art

projects.

Week 4: Road Trip USA

Let’s celebrate our country’s birthday as we learn

all about the USA and its splendor. Campers will

learn all about geography, traditions, and more as

we travel from state to state!

Week 5: Summer Super Heroes

Our awesome super hero campers will strengthen

their super powers through group projects and peer

interactions that encourage positive relationships.

Week 6: Rainforest

Let’s pack our bags and head out on a mysterious journey through the rainforest. Campers are going green this week and learning how to help our planet.

Week 7: Nature Explorers

Campers are constantly observing and exploring the world

around them. Campers will be encouraged to use their five

senses as they explore our local environment.

Week 8: Jr. Olympics

Campers will develop their gross motor skills and team

building skills by joining us for a fun-filled week playing the

world’s most popular sports with an “Around the World”

multicultural experience.

Week 9: Summer Wrap Up

It’s time to wrap up our super summer! We will end our

Passport to Adventure with a celebration of summer;

making memories and leading the way to the future.

Week 7: Art

Young imaginations are freed to soar while dabbling in paint, blending

textures, developing patterns, creating recycled art and experimenting

with papier maché.

Week 2: Knights & Princesses

Brave Knights and Kind Princesses are hereby called to

slay dragons and hold court at Castle Evergreen.

Knights may visit the armory and Princesses the royal

wardrobe.

Week 9: Soccer

Kick into high gear with Lil’ Kickers Soccer! Learn to dribble, pass,

shoot, and score as we practice being a part of a team.

Week 4: Music

Inspired by appealing rhythms, little bodies revel in

the discovery of musicality and movement. Guided

by our specialist, campers explore a variety of mu-

sical instruments and study their origin.

Week 5: Cooking

This is your camper's big chance to experience the art and science of

cooking as they develop savvy culinary techniques, understand basic

kitchen safety, explore global cuisines, prepare tasty meals and master the

art of entertaining.

Week 6: Gymnastic

Somersault into a week of gymnastics and tumbling! We’ll

learn basic tumbling moves, practice with real gear, and put

together a routine with our gymnastics teammates.

Week 1: Dance

Inspired by the variety in dance, campers engage in self-expression,

build concentration and coordination, and discover their talents. Great

for both boys and girls.

Week 8: Pirate Palooza

Arrgh Matey! Grab your peg leg and eye patch and

help us raise the Jolly Roger! This week is all about

dressing, walking, and talking like a pirate.

Week 3: Amazing Athletes

A variety of individual and team sports and games appeal to every young

child. More than fun, campers refine motor skills, body awareness, and

hand-eye coordination, while tackling life-long leadership skills and

team-building.

Montessori Camp—K-Readiness with Ms. Forozan

This camp is designed for all students entering Kindergarten in the fall. Your

child will build on the skills they have developed during the school year as

they explore the world of Oceanography. Help your child be prepared and

confident to start Kindergarten this Fall!

Payment Policy : Please register my child in Evergreen Academy Issaquah 2015 for the weeks indicated above. I understand that camp

tuition is due on the first day of each week. I also understand that I am obligated to pay for all the weeks I have marked on this form, regardless of my child's attendance (camp tuition is non-refundable). I understand that changes in registration must be received in writing 14 days in advance in order to avoid a charge. I also understand that camp will be closed on Friday, July 3rd, 2015, in observance of Independence Day. Extended Day hours are any 10 hours during the day (including the full day) from 6:30 -6:00, and a late pickup fee of

$5.00 per minute is assessed after 6:00 PM.
