Located in the XYZ building, in the heart of Spinningfields, The Refinery is Drake & Morgan’s first venture in Manchester. It is comprised of an open-plan kitchen alongside a statement back bar that exudes sophistication and is sure to be an everyday escape for Manchester’s most discerning drinkers and diners.
FOOD & DRINK
Menus, inspired by seasonal, British food and crafted by our team of chefs, are influenced by the latest trends here and across the globe. It offers a range of small plates and mezze boards, ideal to share, alongside larger mains which will come in the form of beautiful burgers, superfood salads & classic dishes. Continuing to push the boundaries of innovative mixology and experimentation, The Refinery offers a variety of seasonally inspired cocktails from the old classics and well-loved favourites to the new, the unexpected and the surprising. The wine list is equally impressive with a variety of vintages from both new and old worlds whilst ice-cold Prosecco and Champagne is in no short supply to cater for all manner of celebrations.
STYLE
Spread across one beautifully designed floor, fronted by floor-to-ceiling windows, the space has been carved into zones including a bar and dining area, a restaurant and a cornered off lounge separated by statement screens to give an air of exclusivity. Exuding industrial sophistication, feature lighting and touches of colour and texture throughout are complemented by a carefully curated range of home and lifestyle wares. The alfresco terrace, accessorised with cosy blankets and hot water bottles, just some of the little touches that make all the difference, is perfect for people watching and soaking up the sun in the warmer months.

As an elegant scene-stealing setting, laden with one-of-a-kind pieces and statement interiors, The Refinery is the perfect spot for photoshoots and filming.
EVENTS
The Refinery’s spacious interior allows for a host of private events, launches and parties to be catered for from small groups to full venue hire (250 seated), With a total capacity for up to 500 people standing, it’s the perfect venue for private and corporate events. The spacious outdoor terrace seats up to 64 so is an ideal area to make the most of during the warmer months.

The Refinery is conveniently located within easy walking distance of five train stations, the closest being Salford Central Station which is a 2-minute walk away. Buses pass frequently through Spinningfields providing easy access to the rest of Manchester.
