About Museums SheffieldMuseums Sheffield is the charitable trust that runs Graves Gallery, Millennium Gallery and Weston Park Museum, home to the city’s collections of art, design, history and natural sciences.

We have two licensed venues that provide the perfect place for corporate events, family occasions, award ceremonies or gala dinners.

Whether it’s Weston Park Museum’s floor to ceiling gallery that illustrates the history of Sheffield, or the contemporary white space of Millennium Gallery, ready for a favourite theme, our talented team are on hand to make your event run like clockwork.

We recommend a selection of hand-picked caterers because of their exquisite locally-sourced, seasonal produce and their commitment to customer service. From elegant plant-based canapés to pie and peas or hog roasts, there’s a flavour to fit every theme and budget.

An iconic space that charts the story of Sheffield from prehistory to the present, Weston Park Museum, with its neoclassical pavilion and stunning architecture, provides a majestic backdrop for your event.

An eclectic collection of art and artefacts including favourites such as Spike the woolly rhino, and Joe Scarborough’s iconic city panorama of Sheffield Through the Ages, make this award-winning family-friendly museum an interesting alternative for family gatherings, product launches and corporate events.

Millennium Gallery is a landmark space that typifies this vibrant, contemporary city. It is home to the very best in art and design; a celebration of Sheffield’s rich history of innovation and craftmanship, its Metalwork collection is one of the finest in the world.

The white space of the Arundel Room provides a blank canvas ready for any theme or style to create the perfect occasion or event. Our talented events team are on hand to help you turn this pristine white box into your new favourite place, whatever the colour, whatever the theme, whatever your budget.

Millennium Gallery is adjacent to the Winter Garden and the Peace Gardens, which provide an oasis of green in an inner-city landscape and a beautiful backdrop for photos to capture your event. Alternatively, the terrace offers a panoramic view of the urban cityscape.

The convenient city centre location makes it very easy to find and accessible for your guests by road or rail.

Where to Find Us

WestonPark Museum

Weston Park Museum, Western Bank, Sheffield, S10 2TP.Weston Park Museum is situated on Western Bank, close to Sheffield Children's Hospital.

Parking

Visitors can claim 25% discount at the nearby Q-park on Durham Rd. Please ask for details.

Limited disabled parking spaces are available for blue badge holders on Mushroom Lane.

By bus and tram

The 51 and 52 buses from the city centre stop directly opposite the museum. We are 10 minutes’ walk from the University tram stop.

Millennium Gallery is situated in the centre of Sheffield on Arundel Gate, opposite Sheffield Hallam University and next to the Novotel.

Parking

There are several major carparks near to the Gallery. Visitors can claim 50% discount at the Q-park on Charles St. Please ask for details.

Limited disabled parking spaces are available for blue badge holders on Surrey Street.

By rail, bus and tram

We are 5 minutes’ walk from both Sheffield train station, the Transport Interchange and the Cathedral tram stop.
