INTRODUCTION
If you are looking to host an event on innovation or cities, The Urban Innovation Centre in Clerkenwell is the UK’s leading collaborative hub for urban innovation and would be the ideal place for your organisation’s event. Since opening in April 2015, we have welcomed over 30,000 visitors, and hosted to over 4,000 people at 430 events. If you are looking for a flexible and inspiring venue to hold your workshop, seminar, panel discussion, networking reception, or hackathon, the Urban Innovation Centre is the only space you will want to use. Hire prices include use of in-house A/V, free wi-fi, teas and coffees and access to kitchen refreshments. Depending on the size and nature of your event, there is a potential to have the name put on our state-of-the-art arclight by the entrance/café.

THE AUDITORIUM AND BREAK-OUT SPACE (BASEMENT)
The Auditorium is a generous sized space to hold your theatre/presentation style event or workshop. With a maximum seated capacity of 80, the space has a ceiling hung projector, screen, laptop, speakers, 4 x Revolab lapel mics and refreshment area. You will also have use of the adjacent break-out area (that also has a large mobile screen) which comes as part of the space. This is where you can host your refreshments and provides an opportunity for your guests to network. In addition, there is separate seating in our alcove areas that can each accommodate up to 12 people and can also hold workshop-style events.

The Workspace is a large, bright and airy room featuring state-of-the-art A/V facilities, including a video/tile wall and speakers to display all your presentations. This space has multi-use options ranging from workshops through to standing receptions. Additional facilities include a full room length white board wall, adjacent cloakroom and access to the shared refreshment area.

The Café and Demonstration Space is only available upon special request. This is an ideal space to host an awards or presentation ceremony, as well as networking and panel events. It can also be used as a potential exhibition space. The main feature is a curved microtile wall that would provide the perfect focal point for your brand.

BY PUBLIC TRANSPORT
Our closest rail station is Farringdon, served by the
underground and mainline national rail services. We are
a 25 minute walk from both King's Cross and Liverpool
Street. We are also a two minute walk from Clerkenwell
Road, which is served by various bus routes.
BY BIKE
We have showers, changing facilities and indoor storage
for those arriving by bicycle. Please ask at reception
for access. Clerkenwell is accessible via numerous
designated quiet routes and you will find a Santander
Cycle Hire docking station at the south end of Sekforde
Street.
BY CAR
We are served by both the A1 and the A201. Sekforde
Street is a one-way street and access is from the south
via Clerkenwell Road. There is limited pay and display
parking available on Sekforde Street, which is within the
Congestion Charge zone.
