    OUR INSPIRING meeting and event SPACES

  • The Australian Room is the jewel in the crown of Hyatt Place Event Centre. Dedicated

    to large-scale celebrations and gatherings, this space can seat up to 1,000 guests –

    or 1,365 when joined with our Atrium room - in a conference or theatre-style set up.

    The Australian Room can put on the glitz for up to 1,000 seated guests (or up to 1,310

    guests for a cocktail soiree) including a dance floor. Lofty, five meter high ceilings

    accentuate the sense of space.

    A feature of this room is the decorative, operable walls. They split the space into three

    equal rooms of 328m2 and can create up to 72 dynamic room configurations. Each can

    comfortably host conferences for up to 350 guests, cocktail functions of up to 320 or

    dinners up to 170 still retaining that all-important dance floor.

    THE australian room

  • The Atrium is a north-facing space designed to capture an abundance of natural

    light. Its retractable roof makes it a stress-free choice for indoor/outdoor events and

    exhibitions in all-weather conditions. The Atrium can accommodate cocktail functions of

    up to 310 guests and banquet dinners for up to 160 seated guests.

    It’s also an effective option for trade shows and exhibitions. The space accommodates

    14 x 3m2 exhibition booths and makes bump-in and out of set-up - including cars, boats,

    trucks and caravans - a breeze.

    THE atrium

    The State Room is the most intimate room available at

    Hyatt Place Event Centre. It can host up to 65 guests in

    theatre style seating, up to 32 guests for a meeting or

    conference in a cabaret setting or play host to 50 guests

    cocktail style.

    The State Room also makes for a convenient break-out

    space as an oasis away from the main event.

    THE state room Three Oak Pavillion is a stunning outdoor space, nestled

    within beautifully landscaped gardens, which includes

    three magnificent oak trees as a key element. Here, a

    striking pavillion has been constructed from old recycled

    wharf timber, capped off with a patterned glass roof

    and soothing water wall backdrop. This space, which

    accommodates 100 guests, is suited to relaxed cocktail

    functions, pre or post-event drinks.
