Yura! (Welcome)Join us and discover the ancient traditions and contemporary voices of the people of land and sea – the Quandamooka.

Quandamooka Festival celebrates the living history, knowledge, stories, arts and culture of the Nughi, Nunukul and Gorenpul clans, known collectively as the Quandamooka People of South East Queensland.

Over the three perfect months of our subtropical winter, experience dynamic dance, music, visual art exhibitions, fibre art and weaving workshops, bush tucker dining, whale watching cultural tours, kunjiel (corroborees), Indigenous sports, storytelling, insights into cultural heritage and Caring for Country and much, much more.

Getting here:Travelling to Minjerribah (North Stradbroke Island) is easy. Simply travel to Toondah Harbour, Cleveland by car or take the connecting train and bus service and then catch one of the two WATER TAXIS or the VEHICLE FERRY. Parking at Toondah Harbour is free.

For ferry prices and bookings visit: stradbrokeferries.com.au and flyer.com.au

Getting around:Once on the island, it is a quick walk to Deanbilla Bay from the Stradbroke Ferry terminal and bus transport is regular and affordable from Goompi (Dunwich) to Pulan Pulan (Amity Point) and Mooloomba (Point Lookout). 4WDs are not required on the island unless you are planning to drive off-road or on the beaches. There is also scooter hire available.

Accommodation:Minjerribah Camping is owned and operated by Traditional Owners. As well as powered and unpowered campsites, Minjerribah Camping offers glamping, eco-tents and cabins at beautiful beachfront sites across the island. Find out more at minjerribahcamping.com.au
