weave them into a piece of MusicCloth® as an effort to reduce and eliminate e-waste, while giving the product new life. Our

We had also been showcased at the TEDx platform as one of the ideas worth spreading and included in RedDot 21 for

: an art installation by Singapore
Youth for Climate Action
In support of Singapore’s Year of Climate Action,
Singapore Youth for Climate Action
(SYCA) have commissioned an art installation
entitled “+” that integrates recycled drink
cans and plastic bottles. The SYCA community
helped to spread environmental awareness by
getting participants of the recent NTUC Income
Eco Run to recycle their 100PLUS cans after the
run. By involving the runners in the building of
this installation, it is an expression of personal
responsibility and collective commitment to creating
a sustainable Singapore.
The installation is designed by Din Chan of Madlab and
built with the support of Ground-Up Innovation Labs
for Development (GUILD).

#USELESSPLASTICS roadshow by WWF
Plastics are durable, light and versatile. However,
they take up to 400 years to decompose. This will
affect people’s lives for the next 16 generations.
In Singapore, about 700 million kg of plastic
waste is discarded every year. But less than 10% of
plastics are being recycled. Our excessive use of
plastics is impacting ocean health and biodiversity.
By 2050, there could be more plastics in the ocean
than fish by weight. Come join us to learn more
about how plastics affect not only our oceans
but our climate too through our engaging games
and activities. We will also be featuring our new
sustainable WWF Merchandise line to help support
our campaigns.
