Constellation: Inspiration and the Artist Book Now – August 7Library HoursInternationally recognized artists join accomplished artists from Wyoming to interpret bookmaking techniques and forms into original pieces of art. This year’s pieces are inspired by not only a grouping of stars in the sky, but by other definitions of “constellation” such as a grouping of related things: people, feelings, ideas. Artist and gallery owner Camellia El-Antably curated this annual invitational exhibit. (All Ages; 1st and 3rd Floors)

Discover NASANow – August 15Library HoursExplore A Universe of Stories through the hands-on multimedia exhibit Discover NASA: From Our Town to Outer Space! It’s a traveling science museum here at the library! The exhibit is an inside look at NASA, America’s space agency and covers six key NASA areas: Human Exploration, Earth Science, Mars Exploration, Solar System and Beyond, Aeronautics, and Technology.(All Ages; 2nd Floor)

Discover NASA: From Our Town to Outer Space was developed by Space Science Institute’s National Center for Interactive Learning (NCIL). It is part of NCIL’s STAR Library Education Network (STAR_Net).

Guitar Contest Sign-UpNow – September 27 The second annual One World Prairie Guitar Contest will be held on September 28 from 10am-4pm. This year’s categories are acoustic, classical, electric, and miscellaneous stringed instruments (excluding piano). First place winners receive $1,000, second place winners receive $700, and third place winners receive $500!
