TRANSCRIPT
Event bookings also known as group or party bookings can
cover anything from a Mehndi Night to a Birthday Party. For
group events we offer light strips( pictured below) which are a
trail of henna that runs from the wrist to the index finger
only, with no henna on the other fingers. We offer strips as
they are quick to apply and provide a satisfying amount of
coverage. Each strip takes around 3 to 4 minutes to apply
meaning we can keep the line moving and look after all of
your guests! Depending on your event we have created
different packages, including one which caters for groups that
would prefer more coverage.
1. Henna by person 2. Henna by the hour 3. Henna by design
£5 per person, for 2 light strips
Please note the price will remain at £5
even if only 1 strip is applied. This
package works well for group bookings
that have 15 or less people in
attendance. Or if the guests are paying
for themselves. It is still recommended
for a start and finish time to be agreed
as knowing there is an end time
prompts people to have their henna
applied in a timely manner.
£50 per hour, for 2 light strips
This package works well for any size
booking as you will have an artist on
site for x amount of time. If your
booking is larger than 40 people we
would recommend offering 1 strip per
person. We work in a team so can also
offer more than one henna artist if
required. Any additional henna artists
will also be £50 per hour.
Price based on design:
We offer the below pricing for heavier
pieces. This package is perfect for
smaller bookings to allow a good amount
of time for each design. Please note that
heavy designs will be full coverage but
will not be as complex as bridal designs.
• Light designs are £10 for 1 side of 1 hand.
• Medium designs are £15 for 1 side of 1 hand.
• Heavy designs are £20 for 1 side of 1 hand.
Helpful Group Booking Tips!
• Let your guests know beforehand there will be henna and what the limit is, for example strips only.
• Provide you artist with a rough idea of numbers in advance so that they can advise you on timings and adequately prepare.
• Arrange for the henna artist to arrive after the guests do, as this will mean that everyone is already settled in allowing the artist
to get to work straight away.
• If you’re on a budget, let us know! We will recommend the best package to meet your needs!
Please note that all of the above pricing is for designs up to the wrist only.
Your bridal henna can be as simple or detailed as you would like.
There are no set rules to follow, it’s all about finding a design that
makes you happy! At Tiara Mehndi we offer all of our brides a
complimentary trial prior to booking so that we can meet and gain
an understanding of each other and the brides vision. Once booked
we will start drafting designs which are sent to the bride for
feedback.
For bridal henna we have a set of recommended packages based on
our brides most popular choices. Or you can chose your own combi-
nation. To be able to provide you with a bridal quote, we need to
know how detailed you would like your henna and how far up the
arms/legs you would like to go. Our brochure covers this in depth if
you are unsure.
Please note that your booking may be subject to a travel charge. All prices are considered final only once they have been agreed via email.

1. Light Detail 2. Medium Detail 3. Heavy Detail
Light detail can vary from small and
dainty designs to big and bold
elements that use the empty space to
make them pop. Light designs are
great for brides that don’t like henna
or don’t want to sit for hours having
henna applied. This level of detail
covers around 30 to 40% of the area.
Medium detail covers around 5o to 60%
of the area and is perfect for brides
that would like something detailed
without the full area being covered.
There are many different styles that
can be done with this level of detail
and enough room for more complex
and personalised elements.
Heavy detail covers the majority of
the area with complex and detailed
designs. This is ideal for brides
looking to make an impact!
Depending on how far up the arms
and legs you would like to be heavy
coverage, this level of detail can
take quite a few hours to apply.
Helpful Booking Tips! • You can chose different levels of detail for the feet, palms and backs of the hands. The choice is yours, though I recommend that
if you are going for different levels of detail then the palms should always have the heaviest level of coverage.
• Think about how long you would like to sit having your bridal henna done as the more the detail, the more time it takes to
apply.
• It can be useful to think about what jewellery you will be wearing on the wedding day and how the level of detail can work
around it. For example you could have a light detail henna design on the backs of your hands but lots or rings to still give it a
heavy look.
As mentioned to provide a quote we need to know the level of detail and coverage desired. The previous page covers the
detail and the below picture outlines the different amounts of coverage. We like to be as transparent as possible with
our brides so we have created the below price guide. Using this you can review the different options and find a combi-
nation that matches your vision and budget. If you need any help please contact us and we will advise you on the best
combination for you and your needs! The pricing below is based on the detail and coverage for 1 side of 2 hands. This
is because most brides prefer to have different levels of detail on different areas. Please note that pricing is not set un-
til agreed with Tiara Mehndi, as there can be some additional charges such as travel that may need to be taken into ac-
count.

Coverage Options
The picture to the left shows the different levels of coverage for your henna.
Again this will need to be decided for the feet, palms and backs of the hands.
Normally the hands have the same level of coverage on both sides, whilst the
feet can be anything. Though it is completely up to you what to chose. If you
have your bridal outfit already selected then it can be helpful to use it as a
guide for coverage. As if you have long sleeves you will only see the design
up to the wrist on the day. Or if your outfit is sleeveless you can use your
henna to play with the empty arm space!

*Remember the prices are for either the backs, palms of the hands or feet. For the total price you will need to add all three together.
• All bookings require a 50% deposit for to be secured. The Booking Reservation Email is not a booking
confirmation, it is a summary of the services you require. You will only be sent a Booking Confirmation
Email once the deposit has been paid.
• The deposit is redeemable against the final sum of the booking and is only refundable in the instance of
Tiara Mehndi cancelling the booking.
• For all bookings the price will be adjusted as appropriate if more henna is requested on the day.
• All brides are offered a complimentary bridal trial and consultation, however this will be subject to the
artists availability and in a location of the artists choice.
• The trial cannot be within the month leading up to the wedding, to ensure hands are stain free.
• Bridal designs will only be drafted once the deposit has been paid.
• For bridal or group bookings a wait fee of £20 is charged if the booking is running more than 30 minutes
late.
• All henna used by our artists is completely natural and chemical free. If you have any allergies or skin
sensitivities please let us know in advance of your booking.
• Our henna is 100% natural and because of this takes 2 to 3 days to reach its peak colour, hence we
recommend for bridal henna to be applied 2 or 3 days before the wedding.
• It is our job to design and apply a beautiful henna design, however to guarantee a dark stain it is up to the
bride to follow the aftercare instructions. These include keeping the henna on for 6 to 12 hours and
avoiding water for 24 hours following paste removal. Full aftercare instructions are detailed on the website
and will be provided on the day.
When booking with Tiara Mehndi the normal process is as follows:
• Initial contact with the client - This is when we start building a relationship and
establishing the needs of our customer and how best to meet them. To get the most
out of this stage it is useful to have as much information about your event possible.
This allows us to have a clear idea of your needs and enables us to provide an
accurate quote. For bridal clients this stage does include an optional complimentary
consultation which can be used to discuss design ideas and themes.
• Agree booking details - Once the services and pricing have been agreed a
Reservation Email is sent to the client containing a full summary of the booking. This
allows the client a chance to review and agree all of the booking details. Once the
client is satisfied a 50% deposit is required to secure the booking.
• Booking Confirmation - When the deposit has been received a Booking
Confirmation Email will be sent. If there have been any changes to the booking the
email will be updated to include them. For bridal clients we will only start drafting
designs at this stage.
• For guest bookings we will contact you one week before the event to confirm the
booking details are still the same and gauge a rough idea of numbers. For bridal
clients we will start sending draft designs for review . This will continue until a
design is agreed.
