Kowloon. <Google Map> Event detail: The Welcome Reception kicks off the week-long Anniversary Homecoming and Reunion

programme with a happy hour reception after work on Friday, to be hosted by the Organising Committee for those coming back from overseas, including their spouses. Local alumni are also cordially invited to attend the occasion to join in the welcome. Snacks are to be washed down with choice red and white wine (with the compliment of our connoisseur OC Chairman), juices and other drinks. The venue includes the comfortable function room of the private clubhouse of a newly renovated residential tower, and if weather permits, an al fresco lounge area. Any local alumni, who so wish is welcome to contribute in any way to the fun, say, bringing along any delicacy or wine.

For those who wish to carry on their chit chat, standby tables for dinner at a nearby restaurant will be booked.

Directions: Walk from TsimShaTsui MTR Station via underground walkway to K11 Mall at Exit N4, take elevator or stairs on the right to ground floor, and wrap around the street corner to the right after crossing Mody Road.

Venue: Common Room, Wah Yan College Kowloon Event detail: The event is aimed to retrieve the memories of our fellow alumni at WYK Campus 45 years ago.

Light buffet lunch will be served at the Common Room, followed by a Campus Tour led by the current WYK boys. This will be an excellent opportunity to recollect the good old days by visiting the old buildings and appreciate the development of the school over the years.

Event detail: The evening will be kicked off by a few short and sweet

addresses by honorable guests, and continues on the back of the

three things that make a celebration dinner party memorable: good

food, good imbibing, and even better camaraderie among old friends

and schoolmates. All these are set against the ambience of the

School Hall. The evening’s activities will also be punctuated by photo

taking (selfies included), tales swapping, cajoling of drinks, and a

performance or two (impromptu or otherwise), with video streaming

of pictures of our vintage in the background.

Really, it doesn’t get any better than this!

Event detail: Whilst almost the whole of Hong Kong is densely meshed by highways and stuffed by skyscrapers,

the Lamma Island remains quite the same as it was in 1971, and its seafood is still famous. We invite our

classmates to consider adding the date 6 November (Sunday) to our 45th Graduation Celebration agenda.

We propose a half day trip to the Island, and enjoy a seafood lunch by the seaside, on a per

headcount cost sharing basis. We will invite teachers to join the trip, and welcome your companion

persons. The tentative itinerary is as follows:

11:00 am Meet at TsimShaTsui Harbor, Pier 5

11:30 am Leave TsimShaTsui by a courtesy ferry of the Lamma Rainbow Restaurant

12:15 pm Arrive SokKwuWan Lamma Island after a scenic ride in Victoria Harbor

12:45 pm Enjoy seafood lunch at Lamma Rainbow Restaurant

02:15 pm Walk along a casual trail in the Island

03:45 pm Leave SokKwuWan

04:30 pm Back to Central or TsimShaTsui Pier as per your convenience

Two samples of menus are obtained from the restaurant for your opinion. We may use one of them

as basis, and then supplement ala carte items as appropriate. Eat Healthy. You may make any suggestion.

Note ** If the deposit HK$600 is not able to cover the cost, the alumni and companions participants will

have to share the additional costs.

Sunday is usually busy. We would appreciate if you would include this event and register early in

your celebration participation package right at this time. This certainly would help us to secure table and

Event detail: This 3 days 2 nights trip to Guangzhou 廣州,ZhongSha 中山, ZhuHai 珠海 and Macau 澳門 is

for those alumni who could spare time to tour these heritage cities and enjoy the different varieties of good food there. Return ferry tickets from Macau and hotel rooms there if required will be sponsored by Sociedade de Jogos de Macau, one of the ( Dr. Stanley Ho’s ) casinos but limited to 30 participants. Note that for this trip hotels and transportation in PRC will be booked via China Travel Services and the participants will be paying for own meals for more flexibility though advance booking of restaurants will be arranged.

Lunch for the last day in Macau will be the superb dim sum at The Eight at the Grand Lisboa Hotel 新萄京酒店 8 號餐廳 followed by Portuguese dinner at the Amagao 亞馬交葡國餐廳 in the evening. In between these meals, and apart from free time to tour Macau, arrangement has been made for interested alumni (opt-in only) to see the House of Dancing Water ( 水舞間 ) show at the City of Dreams casino at an additional charge of HK$1,200 per head or other prevailing shows at casinos in the Cotai area subject to advance arrangement.

In case at the end of the trip there are alumni wishing to extend the stay in Macau or travel to onward destinations apart from Hong Kong separate arrangement may be made. Please kindly advise Event contact David Ho in advance:
