DEPARTMENT OF PHYSICS AND ELECTRONICS

About the department

Department of Physics and Electronics is one of the most advancing

department of KALYAN P.G. AUTO. COLLEGE. It was established in 1974. Since its

foundation it has been actively involved in teaching as well as in many innovative &

social activities

The department has employed 9 teaching staff & 4 non -teaching staffs. The

department is proud to have qualified & experienced faculty members. The

department offers many experimental and project work in the field of Material Science

and Electronics.

The department is enriched with the library facility which has almost 1600 books.

Department has separate laboratory for Electronics, material science & general practical

including two dark rooms.

The department encourages students for their career as well as their personality to deal

with the outgrowing technical world. The department also trained students in different

skills such as fabrication of static and dynamic display board, CCTV & INTERCOM

installation & configuration and troubleshooting of different electronic equipments

used in laboratory of U.G. & P.G.

The department also motivate and guide students of P.G. to participate in different

workshops, conferences and seminars organized by national & state level institutions.

Our department also enhance moral values and guide students to respect their culture.

Every year students of the department celebrates many festival and organize different

social activities likes .

Student of M.Sc. physics 2014 celebrated teachers day along with the introduction

ceremony of new batch the second part of the program included the welcome and

introductory of new students.

Department of physics & electronic organized two days Educational tour to

jagdalpur and tirthgarh waterfall, kutumsar caves, chitrakut waterfall dated on 02-

10-2015. The team is being led by prof. Y. P. PATEL, DR(MRS)NEELAM

SHUKLA AND MR. NITESH GUPTA.

Department of physics organized the inaugural function of physic society. Along

with the opening of society there was a seminar by MR.KSHITIJ SINGHAI on

Physicssociety organized the closing ceremony of physics society 2015. The quiz

Student of M.Sc. final 2016 organized quiz competition at adivasi gyan vigayn

mela held at DAV school durg. Team of students hosted the quiz competition. The

team is being led by DR. D.N. SHARMA and students of M.Sc. final students

ANKIT CHANDRIKAPURE, HEMCHAND SAHU, RAVIKANT, RANVIJAY,

GOMENDRA KUMAR, POOJA SINHA, DIPTI SHAU NIHARIKA SINGH ,

CHANDRKIRAN ADIL.

Student OF M.Sc. final 2016 organized welcome gathering of new batch. The

included various games as well proved to be a new experiment to the upcoming

students of M.Sc. physics.

Student of M.Sc. final and previous year celebrate SWAMI VIVEKANAND

JAYANTI in the department. PROF. Y.P.PATEL exoress his view on swami

vivekanands life and values .

Department of physics organized a seminar on NPTEL. Department assistant

professor AMIT TAMRAKAR presented his seminar on “NPTEL (national

programme on technology enhanced learning). The seminar included basic

knowledge about NPTEL and how to access the portal. It also include the benefits

from NPTEL and E –learing.

Student of M.Sc. previous 2017 organized quiz competition for M.Sc. final 2017

in the department. Department HOD PROF. Y.P. PATEL became the head of the

competititon. As a control panel DR.(MRS)NEELAM SHUKLA and nitesh gupta,

amit tamrakar and other faculty monitored the whole quiz.

Physicssociety organized the closing ceremony of physics society 2017 and

farewell of M.Sc.final2017. in this program final year student shared their
