EXAMPLES OF INFLUENCE

• I communicated verbally with my audience a lot through my development, this allowed me to create an attractive, streamlined layout. An example of this is when deciding on the house style of the newspaper. My target audience identified that they'd like my newspaper to resemble the Tyne River and for that reason the cover and page 2 is a green and blue, the green representing the Tyne Bridge and the blue representing the River Tyne.

• Communicating regularly with my target audience also meant that I was able to provide the stories that feature in local newspapers, however, my style model usually features more football stories to attract a more masculine audience, but as I wanted to diverse my audience so instead I included more 'celebrity gossip' stories. this was to attract a more younger and female audience.

image of Tilly on my Page 2, this is because the initial image didn't suit the article and also because I used a similar style on the cover. The new image focuses on Tilly while she is in her X Factor phase.
