My intentions when taking the photo:My initial intentions were to have a close up of the model with the motorway in the background. But as my model is the focal point of the photo, I wanted just the model in focus. So to do this I used a shallow depth of field to do this. How the final image fulfils my intentions: The final image fulfils my intentions due to the angle of the show allows the background to be in the shot with all of the model needed too. The shallow depth of field allows the model to be the focal point within the image but the motorway to still be seen. How is the image appropriate for the front cover of a teenage lifestyle magazine?The photo is appropriate for my front cover due to the close up showing the age of the model, which is a teenage age (18) and with the background still being shown despite the close up, the clothing allows the audience to see what the magazine is about. The meaning created in the image:The meaning that is created within the image is that you can be fashionable wherever you are it doesn't matter about your circumstance being fashionable isn't restricted in certain areas.

How well the combination of image and text works:The combination of image and text works due to the text font. The font allows the image to not be disturbed and be on its own and the text not over the face but the font is still big enough to be seen by the audience. It has a good balance between them, allowing the text to stand out yet the model’s face is clear.The meaning created: The meaning I have created within this image is that you can be fashionable within any common situation. This means that no matter where you are or who you are with you can still look fashionable.How is this appropriate to your target audience?This is appropriate to my target audience due to the model being the same age as the target audience. Meaning that due to the model being the same age as the target audience this would create an attraction to the magazine. Also the magazine is about Fashion. Which is shown through the model’s outfit. How does this fulfil your intentions?The final photo fulfils my intentions due to the model being the centre of attention within the cover but yet the text having their own attention to them. I really do like how I has turned out.

My intentions when taking the photo:My initial intentions were to have the model in between a door and a brick wall. I wanted this due to many other magazines having brick wall backgrounds. I wanted to be different and original. The line down the middle could also represent a difference in articles on each side.How the final image fulfils my intentions: The final image fulfils my intentions due to the model being framed perfectly. The model is in the middle of the image which i was looking for and the model is giving direct address, to attract attention.How is the image appropriate for the front cover of a teenage lifestyle magazine?The photo is appropriate for my front cover due to a lot of the clothing in the image is shown, and for my intentions to be fulfilled I couldn't have a long shot of the model. So with the close up it really does allow the audience to see what the magazine is about. The meaning created in the image:The meaning that is created within the image is that fashion doesn’t end with just being in the public, you can be fashionable anywhere you want to be. And with the background being what it is I think this message has been put across very well.

They are not overlapping the image, this allows the photo to still be the focal point of the image yet the cover lines still stand out to the audience. The meaning created: The meaning that is created within the image is that fashion doesn’t end with just being in the public, you can be fashionable anywhere you want to be. And with the background being what it is I think this message has been put across very well.How is this appropriate to your target audience?This is appropriate to my target audience due to the model. The model being in the middle of the cover allows the cover lines stand out to the audience. The coverlines are not too big as this does not attract my target auidnece. How does this fulfil your intentions?The final photo fulfils my intentions due to the model. With the model being in the centre of the cover this allows the other cover lines to have enough space to stand out not just to the audience which has the magazine in their hand but for anybody looking at it from afar.

THis allows the model and the background to be very important in my cover photo. How the final image fulfils my intentions: The final image fulfils my intentions due to the framing of the shot and the positioning of the model. This is because the framing allows the model to show the full outfit also with some of the background being shown off within it. How is the image appropriate for the front cover of a teenage lifestyle magazine?The photo is appropriate for my front cover due to the outfit of the model. The outfit really does allow the audience to understand of what the magazine is about. The outfit clearly states that it is a winter fashion magazine.The meaning created in the image:The meaning that is created within the image is that no matter the weather you can still wrap warm and be looking fashionable with what you are wearing.

How well the combination of image and text works:The combination of image and text works due to the theme of the cover. The theme of the cover is a very sophisticated and casual theme. So the colours of the text really do go well with the image which is on my magazine. This is because the photo has very brown-ish colour as its primary colour (due to the coat).The meaning created: The meaning I have created within this image is that again no matter where you are you can still look good even if it is a cold day you can still look fashionable. How is this appropriate to your target audience?This is appropriate to my target audience due to the model being the same age as the target audience. Also, the model is clearly somebody who is wearing the clothes as she would if they were here clothes. This allows the audience to see that it is original work and ideas and that it is personal to the model. How does this fulfil your intentions?The final photo fulfils my intentions due to the colours of the text going very well, the model being in the right side of the photo, which allows the background to stand out to the audience without the model not being in the shot.

My intentions when taking the photo:My initial intentions were to have the model on one side of the photo (preferably the left as you can see) and have some of the background as street lights. The photo was taken on a hill looking over a lot of street lights, which is shown in my photo. How the final image fulfils my intentions: The final image fulfils my intentions due to the background clearly showing that the background are street lights and the model flicking her hair really does give the model a distinctive look that is hard to get. The image came out very good due to the photo having what I was hoping for. How is the image appropriate for the front cover of a teenage lifestyle magazine?The photo is appropriate for my front cover due to as it is a fashion magazine. The outfit is a very generic outfit back in the 70’s and they are coming back into fashion, so the audience will be looking to buy one which would attract the attention of the audience to the magazine cover. The meaning created in the image:The meaning that is created within the image is that even at night when nobody can really see you, you can still be fashionable and with this the magazine has a hope that the audience will take this message and use it for their own personal use.

How well the combination of image and text works:The combination of image and text works due to the background being black and the text being white. This really does allow the other cover lines to stand out to the audience, with none of the cover lines being over the model (besides the main one) they all stand out to the audience very much so. The meaning created: The meaning I have created within this image is even in the dark people can still stand out. Meaning that people who think that you don't have to look fashionable when in the dark are wrong, people can still look fashionable when in the dark.How is this appropriate to your target audience?This is appropriate to my target audience due to the magazine being a fashion magazine. This allows the audience to understand that the magazine’s theme and can already see what the magazine holds inside. How does this fulfil your intentions?The final photo fulfils my intentions due to all of the photo mixing very well. The colours of the photo and text really do stand out. The model stands out due to the models hair, which would attrat the audience to the magazine.
