Throughout our documentary we use medium close up or close up

throughout the interviews and framed them on left or right of the screen

We also followed changing the framing from the different sides of the frame making it more

interesting for the audience.

In our documentary we used the mise-en-scene of a blank background

not to distract the audiences attention

however in other documentary’s such as

the one shown they use the mise-en-scene to link to the topic of

the program

In our documentary we used conventional editing, meaning we cut out the questions leaving the answers only, we then further used cutaways relevant to the topic to avoid jump

cuts. This is used to not distract the audience and also makes the answer flow.

Like professional documentary’s we

put graphics showing the name

and what relevance that

person has to the documentary, also

like other documentary’s we

placed the graphics in the

bottom left hand corner.

In our documentary we used

conventional framing making

sure that when we framed the

interviews that the eye line was ¾

down the frame.
