What have you learnt from your

audience feedback?

Page 2: Evaluation - Audience Feedback

To gain some Audience Feedback for my Music Video I uploaded it to YouTube. From there I gained views and comments which helped me with my feedback and made me think of what improvements I could do if I had a chance to do it again. So far from my video I have gained 69 views.

From my feedback on YouTube I can clearly see that the video could do with some changes so it makes sense as one viewer pointed out “Not quite sure what’s meant to be going on”.

To gain some more feedback other than use YouTube I passed around a questionnaire to a few random people I knew.

One of the questions I asked was “What can I do to improve the video?

Below is some of the most popular results I received back.

From these results if I was to do the Music Video from scratch I would take these into consideration and add these improvements.

Quicker Scenes Make it more

When first deciding I was going to do a CD Cover along with the Music Video I handed out a Questionnaire to see what sort of things should be included on the CD Cover.

Below is some of the results I received.

you most expect to see on my CD

Cover?”

The Question was “What Theme

should it be?”

After following the advice of the audience from the

previous questions I created the CD Cover and then sent

out another questionnaire to see if the audience liked

what I had created.

Below is some of the results I received back for questions.

I asked the target audience what should be featured on the Magazine Advertisement and here are the most popular results;

When creating the Advert I followed what the audience said and added those few things which made the advert seen realistic and conventional to other adverts in magazines for pop singers.

Overall I learnt that pre-production audience feedback should be followed so that when completed the audience will enjoy the product as they wanted it to be like.

I also learnt that I could improve my Magazine Advertisement and my Music Video quite a lot to suit the target audiences needs.

I think that audience feedback is important because they help you to decide what to do in the first place as well as aiding any decisions for improving the end product.
