WHAT I HAVE LEARNT:

Looking back at your preliminary task, what do you feel you have learnt in the progression from it to the full product?

PRELIMINARY

PRODUCT:I believe that it's noticed that from my preliminary task, the improvement on my front cover designing skills is shown well as my final cover looks more aesthetically pleasing and also goes into more detail, showing an obvious improvement in placement of cover lines and also the maintaining house style using images I have taken myself, and also using my own colour scheme (house themed).

FRONT COVER:With designing my final production, and the process that I went through I really learnt quite a few important tools that are needed for this sort of production. For example, I learnt how to use Photoshop in more detail, learning how to use specific tools allowing for more customization of my product; these tools included the scaling and rotating tool, allowing me to place my images and cover lines in the most appropriate positioning.

CONTENTS PAGE:

Another tool that I utilized during the creation of my product includes the image effects on Photoshop. I used this tool most in my contents page, as it's noticed that all of my images have been tweaked using artistic effects within the image effects tool.

DOUBLE PAGE SPREAD:

Also learning how to use InDesign

really allowed for my double page

spread to utilize my conventional

house theme, providing an easier

format for producing my double page

spread. One specific tool that I used,

and was impressed with was the drop

cap tool, this tool allowed me to

present the text in my double page

spread in a more conventional and

proffesional format, as the first letter

of both of my articles are altered using

this tool.
