? How-To #2 - EVs and IVs ? By Billie Cheel on Sunday, June 22, 2014 at 7:28pm ? EVs and IVs are what determine the Stats your Pokémon will have. ? ??EVS?? Effort Values of EVs are trainable values. Every Pokémon has a maximum of 510 EV p oints in their life with a maximum of 255 in any individual stat. EVs are player input and will not rise by themselves, in similar matter they won't disappear b y themselves. HOW TO RAISE EVS (the simple way): 1- Get the Pokémon you want to train. Put it in your party. 2- Open Super Training on your bottom screen. 3- Select the Pokémon you want. 4- Select the icon on the bottom left (with a figure kicking a soccer ball). 5- Choose the course which has the Stat that you want to raise. 6- Complete the course. Do this over and over. 7- Complete all the courses to unlock the next level, which trains more. 8- Keep an eye on the green bar on the left of the normal Super Training bottom screen. You can only Super Train until this bar is full. 9- You will recieve punching bags along the way. From the main screen, press the bottom right button to switch bags. Tap your Pokémon to punch the bag. Each bag r aises a different stat. 10 - If you decide you don't like these EVs, use a Reset Bag, which will empty t he bar. RAISING EVS USING HORDES: 1- Go to the Battle Maison, get all the power items and infect your team members with Pokerus. 2- Catch a pokemon with Sweet Scent. 3- Go onto a route with a high leveled Pokémon that can 1-hit KO the kind of Horde s you will find. 4- Give the pokemon you want to train the appropriate power item. (eg. Speed Ank let) 5- Turn your EXP. Share on. Keep your high-leveled in the first slot of your par ty. 6- Use Sweet Scent and defeat the Horde that you find. ??IVS?? IVs or Individual Values are decided upon capture or when you receive an egg and it can't be trained. They range from 0 to 31 and are applied to every stat. Mea ning; every stat has a value between 0 and 31. The higher the IV, the higher the stat. HOW TO GET BETTER IVS: NOTE: Talk to the man in Kiloude City to find out about your Pokémon's IVs. If he says a certain IV 'can't be beat', that IV is at 31. 1. Give an Everstone to the parent with the Nature that you want to pass down. B reed that parent with a female of the Pokémon that you are looking to get. Hatch t he eggs until you have a female with the Nature that you want. 2- Move the Everstone to the baby. From this point on, the baby will replace the female and will continue to hold the Everstone to continuously pass down the Na ture.

? How-To #2 - EVs and IVs ?By Billie Cheel on Sunday, June 22, 2014 at 7:28pm? EVs and IVs are what determine the Stats your Pokémon will have. ?

??EVS??Effort Values of EVs are trainable values. Every Pokémon has a maximum of 510 EV points in their life with a maximum of 255 in any individual stat. EVs are player input and will not rise by themselves, in similar matter they won't disappear by themselves.

HOW TO RAISE EVS (the simple way):1- Get the Pokémon you want to train. Put it in your party.2- Open Super Training on your bottom screen.3- Select the Pokémon you want.4- Select the icon on the bottom left (with a figure kicking a soccer ball).5- Choose the course which has the Stat that you want to raise.6- Complete the course. Do this over and over.7- Complete all the courses to unlock the next level, which trains more.8- Keep an eye on the green bar on the left of the normal Super Training bottom screen. You can only Super Train until this bar is full.9- You will recieve punching bags along the way. From the main screen, press the bottom right button to switch bags. Tap your Pokémon to punch the bag. Each bag raises a different stat.10 - If you decide you don't like these EVs, use a Reset Bag, which will empty the bar.

RAISING EVS USING HORDES:

1- Go to the Battle Maison, get all the power items and infect your team members with Pokerus.2- Catch a pokemon with Sweet Scent. 3- Go onto a route with a high leveled Pokémon that can 1-hit KO the kind of Hordes you will find. 4- Give the pokemon you want to train the appropriate power item. (eg. Speed Anklet)5- Turn your EXP. Share on. Keep your high-leveled in the first slot of your party.6- Use Sweet Scent and defeat the Horde that you find.

??IVS??IVs or Individual Values are decided upon capture or when you receive an egg and it can't be trained. They range from 0 to 31 and are applied to every stat. Meaning; every stat has a value between 0 and 31. The higher the IV, the higher the stat.

HOW TO GET BETTER IVS:

NOTE: Talk to the man in Kiloude City to find out about your Pokémon's IVs. If he says a certain IV 'can't be beat', that IV is at 31.

1. Give an Everstone to the parent with the Nature that you want to pass down. Breed that parent with a female of the Pokémon that you are looking to get. Hatch the eggs until you have a female with the Nature that you want.

2- Move the Everstone to the baby. From this point on, the baby will replace the female and will continue to hold the Everstone to continuously pass down the Nature.

3- Breed down 1 or 2 IVs from a male parent. You can do this a number of different ways. If you have a male parent with 3 or 4 perfect IVs then it is probably better to attach a Destiny Knot to it to allow it to pass down as many as it can. If you are not lucky enough to have that many perfect IVs yet, you can attach the Power Item that corresponds to the the IV that you want to pass down to the father to force it to pass the IV to the baby (For example, you have a Ditto with 31 HP and 31 Speed. If you attached a Speed Anklet to the Ditto, the offspring would be guaranteed to have 31 Speed.)

4- After obtaining a female Pokémon with 1 or 2 perfect IVs from the father, you can replace the female that is currently in the daycare and move the Everstone over to the new female. Pick a male with 2 perfect IVs that are DIFFERENT from the female's and attach a Destiny Knot to it. This allows for more IVs to pass down to the baby. The goal here is to keep improving the number of perfect IVs on your female.

5- Once you get 3 Perfect IVs, switch the parents again. Put the female with the most perfect IVs in with a male that has IVs that are not perfect on the female. Remember to keep Destiny Knot and Everstone on the respective Pokémon so that IVs and natures continue to pass.

6- Keep going until you get a baby with all IVs perfect!
