The SME Instrument supports market-creating innovation in small and medium-sized businesses that have significant growth potential and global ambitions.
Each applicant SME goes through a rigorous review and selection process: Over 50,000 have applied, but less than 6% have been selected.
Besides funding, which starts at €50,000 and can grow to €2.5 million, each SME participant receives world-class business coaching, training and support services, from idea development to product launch in the market.

ADEXADEX was founded in 2004 and holds international patents for Adaptive Predictive Expert Control ADEX technology. ADEX has developed Optimized Adaptive Control systems (OACS), also named ADEX systems, which represent a disruptive technology for industrial control. Their application to industrial processes guarantees stability and optimal operation due to its unique adaptive self-adjusting capability for processes of a time-varying dynamics and operating context.

Its appliances hold the world’s most powerful wood pellet condensing unit, with a range from 25 to 150 kW, suitable from detached houses (200 m2) to large buildings (+10.000 m2 heating surface in cascade).
