Uncovering the hidden Mediterranean With so many countries, three continents and thousands of years of history on the itinerary of Cunard's Mediterranean cruises, there are plenty of ways to discover this ancient sea. You can step into grand cities and laid back harbours, discover lively resorts and sleepy islands, stand before vibrant modern architecture or age old wonders. Experience it all on a Cruiseco Fly, Cruise & Stay holiday, that combines an elegant Cunard voyage with days on land for you to explore all that Europe has to offer. Whichever Cruiseco holiday you choose, you are guaranteed to visit the most fascinating places in the region.

ExperiencesYour cruise to the Mediterranean may be a sophisticated jaunt to French Riviera and Italy’s Renaissance treasures. It may follow the fairy tale Adriatic to Croatian gems and magical Venice. You could weave among Greek Islands filled with whitewashed villages or even reach the imperial splendor of the Black Sea.

CultureQuite simply, everything goes. You can wander sociable plazas, piazzas and squares, admire Monaco’s yachts and supercars or painted fishing boats on Corfu. Watch opera in Naples, vibrant street theatre in Barcelona or Whirling Dervishes in Turkey. Discover the birthplaces of iconic artists, philosophers and writers, or simply follow your instincts wherever you touch shore next on your Mediterranean cruise.

HistoryMany great civilisations once flourished around these shores. So a Mediterranean cruise offers the perfect opportunity to experience some truly iconic destinations. There’s the Parthenon on the Acropolis in Athens, Rome’s Colosseum and other imperial treasures and, at the Mediterranean’s easternmost reaches, Istanbul – a city that straddles Europe and Asia, full of churches, mosques and palaces.

CuisineYour taste buds are in for a treat all over the Mediterranean. You can sample Spanish tapas or Greek mezze, treat yourself to Italian coffee and gelato or Turkish tea and baklava. You can expect fresh fish and meats prepared to age old family recipes, while olives, sun dried tomatoes and fruit all feature heavily in the region’s cuisine too.

The Ultimate UpgradeExperience all the magic of the Mediterranean with voyages from 7 to 21 nights departing from Barcelona, Rome, Venice, Athens and Istanbul. Explore the Mediterranean in absolute luxury and enjoy the advantage of Cunard's upgrade offer.

Choose an Inside or Oceanview stateroom and wake up each morning in a Balcony stateroom*. Guests who book a Princess Grill will be upgraded to a Queens Grill*. Plus receive up to US$600 on board spending money per person on cruises of 10 nights or more.

*Offer ends 16 November 2015. Conditions apply. Please see terms and conditions on page 20.

The Cunard Fleet

Queen ElizabethQueen Elizabeth is Cunard’s newest luxury liner. Recalling the rich heritage of the first Cunarder to bear the name, her elegance and modern features have won her many accolades and made her a firm favourite with passengers.

Dining: As well as the three main restaurants, you can sample the Mexican flavours of Aztec, the Asian menus of Jasmine, Asada’s South American Grill and the all day buffets of the Lido restaurant.

Then there’s the French cuisine of The Verandah restaurant, with its acclaimed sampler menu. (Additional dining charges apply)

Games Deck: When the warm weather entices you onto the spacious Games Deck you’ll notice a definite English country garden ambience, with the gentle clunk of croquet balls, traditional bowls or paddle tennis in the welcome shade of its canopy.

The Royal Arcade: Inspired by London’s Burlington Arcade, find shop brands never before at sea - Hackett, Harris Tweed, Anya Hindmarch and Fortnum and Mason.

Queens Room: A magnificent Grand Ballroom whose artworks and murals reflect Cunard’s cherished royal links. Enjoy elegant ballroom dancing at the Royal Nights Themed Balls and in the day a sublime white gloved serving of afternoon tea.

Queen Mary 2Queen Mary 2 is Cunard’s flagship and the most magnificent ocean liner ever built. Queen Mary 2 offers so much space on board and such an array of state of the art facilities including a 3D Cinema, planetarium and a superb spa.

Dining: Rather than your reserved table in your main restaurant, why not treat yourself in the renowned Todd English restaurant, offering a zesty taste of the Mediterranean. La Piazza offers delicious Italian dishes, Coriander serves Indian cuisine and Lotus serves up flavours across Asia. (Additional dining charges apply)

Canyon Ranch Spa Club: The Canyon Ranch philosophy focuses on optimum health, learning how to feel your best every day, and what better time to feel your best than on holidays.

Planetarium: Queen Mary 2 is the only ship to host a planetarium at sea. Take a virtual tour into outer space, view the stars and journey to the moon or take a course on celestial navigation.

The Royal Court Theatre: Classically elegant in style and surroundings, here you will enjoy the very finest award winning entertainment, lavish productions and musicals.
