• This association was created on the 7th September 1999 in order to answer the demands of decree-law 4/98 of January 8th.


• This Association became the owner of the existing Professional Schools in the village of Montemor-o-Velho:

• The Professional School of Montemor-o-Velho

And

• The Agricultural Professional School Afonso Duarte.


• The Associação Diogo de Azambuja (ADA) is composed of the following Associates:– Montemor-o-Velho Town Hall– Associação Fernão Mendes Pinto– Santa Casa da Misericórdia of Montemor-o-Velho (an old

age home)– Agricultural Cooperative of the Montemor-o-Velho

Municipality– Mutual Agricultural Credit Bank of Abrunheira– Associação de Beneficiários da Obra de Fomento

Hidroagrícola of the Low Mondego Region– Lacticoop


• Dr. Pedro Machado, in representation of the Town Hall of Montemor-o-Velho, is the President of ADA Direction.
