Message from The Principal

Hello everyone,

Congratulations to all students who

participated in the Public Speaking

Competition last Friday. Everyone spoke with

clarity, purpose and there was a good variety

of topics and ideas chosen. The successful

students who will represent our school at the

First North Public Speaking Competition at

Clunes PS next Tuesday are Tom, Zilla, Emily

and Ziyah. Congratulations and good luck!

Tonight is our P&C Meeting for October. It

would be great to see lots of families sending

a representative along to help with

the organising, decision making or planning

for events, activities and projects. 5:30pm in

the Staffroom. All welcome.

Tomorrow night is our P&C Spooky Disco from

4pm-6pm. Please RSVP via the newsletter or

the FB event so that we can plan for the event.

Students are welcome to remain at school

prior to the event if that is more convenient.

Next Friday is our annual Remembrance Day

Ceremony at 9am with special guest Mr Chris

Gray. All students and visitors are welcome to

bring flowers to lay at the flagpole during the

ceremony.

Please send your child to school each day

with a fully stocked Pencil Case.

They should have lead pencil, red pen, glue

the contents have your child’s name on them.

When placing canteen orders please include correct change whenever possible. Also, can

recess items please be purchased by the children with money rather than including extra

money in the lunch order as it is getting quite complicated for the volunteer to keep track
