EURAXESS is a unique pan-European initiative of the European Research Area, providing information and assistance services to researchers regardless their career stage. Backed by the European Commission and 42 European countries, it supports researcher mobility and career development, while enhancing scientific collaboration between Europe and the world.

Inclusive, supportive, attractive research environment and careers EURAXESS actively contributes to better working conditions for researchers through assisting universities and research organisations in implementing the principles of the European Charter for Researchers and the Code of Conduct for the Recruitment of Researchers, using the HR Strategy for Researchers (HRS4R) procedure and e-tool. EURAXESS ensures an inclusive and supportive research environment through the free of charge assistance mechanism offered to incoming researchers and their families. EURAXESS also provides conditions for open, transparent and merit-based recruitment of research positions.
