As part of a global leader in the pharmaceutical and healthcare industry, Bristol-Meyers Thailand is committed to ensuring its staff members have the English-language skills they need to communicate with clients, vendors and coworkers around the world. Since Bristol-Meyers Squibb views English proficiency as a key requirement for its managers, it uses the TOEIC test to evaluate and improve the English-language skills of those managers. Every two years, managers must show they have risen to the required English proficiency level. During that time, they are able to take advantage of an in-house English Department Training Program and retake the TOEIC test to show their progress.
