share cultural ideas and beliefs that have been a part of their community for generations.

Things in common:Language, religion, shared history, types

of foods, and a set of traditional stories, beliefs, or celebrations

Middle East example: Kurds who live in the mountain regions of Iran, Iraq, Syria, and Turkey. They speak Kurdish, most are Muslim.

They are mostly Sunni Muslim (Islam)
