As a versatile artist whose styles encompass a wide range of musical genres, Philip Fortenberry is a

performer with an equally expansive career. In The Man at the Piano, Philip combines his signature style of

playing with the wit, charm and humor of his own story as a pianist on a very special musical journey through

his life, from his humble beginnings as a seven-year-old church pianist in south Mississippi to his life and

career in the theater and on concert stages.

The South Mississippi Ballet Theatre will present its 6th annual “The Nutcracker,” just in time for the holiday season! This Christmas ballet is a family tradition for many. Each year, SMBT strives to bring

something new to the ballet, with newly designed costumes from Russia, backdrops and even special effects, making it

a surprise each time you see it.

As one of the most highly acclaimed performers of our time with five Grammy® awards, four Billboard Music Awards, three platinum records, five gold records, and eleven million units sold, Sandi Patty is simply

known as The Voice. Sandi is the most awarded female vocalist in contemporary Christian music history, with 40 Dove Awards. She was inducted into the Gospel Music Hall of Fame in 2004 and has released over 30 albums. While her thirty-year career is heavily rooted in the gospel music industry, Sandi has had the

opportunity in more recent years to extend her career outside the genre. Sandi has performed with symphonies across the country, including the New York Pops, Boston Pops, Cincinnati Pops,

Dallas Symphony, and Oklahoma City Philharmonic.

prince trapped in a spell placed by an enchantress. If the Beast can learn to love and be loved, the curse will end and he will be transformed to his former self. But time is running out. If the

Beast does not learn his lesson soon, he and his household will be doomed for all eternity.

PERFORMING YOUR LIFE: AN EVENING WITH JEFFREY TAMBOR

Pearl River Community College Honors Institute welcomes Jeffrey Tambor, 2015 Golden Globe winner for Best Actor in a comedy

series. Jeffrey Tambor’s hilarious and inspiring presentation, Per-forming Your Life, motivates viewers to discover the artists within themselves. He shares examples from his own journey, encourag-ing listeners from all walks of life to look beyond their perceived limitations and embrace their own authentic selves. This down to earth conversation is about using life experiences to advise

others to face their fears, attain their goals, and break out of their shell. As a teacher, father, husband — and first,

foremost and always — a student, he is inspired to cultivate a passion for learning and creativity in all kinds of groups, and

professions. Tambor’s captivating and personal lecture style is a performance in itself as he helps audience members realize and

dismiss some of their greatest fears that hold them back from their full potential.

the Lower Pearl River Valley Foundation. Complimentary tickets are available by calling 601-403-1180. Tickets will be

available beginning Jan. 11, 2016.

An Evening with C.S. Lewis is a drama production that has proved to be an enthralling theatrical experience for the many thousands who

have attended its performances over the last 8 years. Full of humor, it is a fascinating and enthralling insight into the life of a man who

became a legend in his own lifetime and who journeyed from atheism to Christianity to become one of the great champions of the

Christian faith. Few Christians have been able to appeal to both believers and non-believers in the way Lewis has and his high profile, even more enhanced by the Narnia Chronicles movies,

makes An Evening with C S Lewis an event that appeals to the whole community.
