I get to be creative in my classes.

The main way that I am judged on how well I learn the material is with the score I get on a test or quiz.

I understand what I need to do in my classes to be successful.

Student Engagement

In my classes, my teachers know what interests me.

My friends and family are not really interested in my schoolwork.

When we get new class assignments, my teachers usually show examples of a completed assignment that was done really well.

Most of my schoolwork has little to do with the real world.

I am able to show my understanding of a topic in different ways, not just through tests, quizzes, and written homework.

I enjoy being involved in after school activities and really believe that they help me grow as a person.

I participate in many extracurricular activities because it helps me make friends and it is important in the college admissions process.
