Mark Your Calendars

Today is New Hope’s Breast Cancer Awareness Sunday. As you all know October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. In support of the fight, the Women of Virtue has asked everyone to participate (men and women) by wearing something pink.

The Health Care Ministry will be passing out Emergency Informa-tion Cards TODAY for every member to fill out and turn in. This information will be used to help us in case of an emergency. The information obtained will be confidential and only used in case of an emergency. Pease fill them out then turn them in to any member of the health care ministry . Thank you for your coopera-tion

Today, Sunday, October 27th Pastor Nelson will be preaching at Worship Cathedral 321 Colorado Ave., Lorain, OH 44052 at 5:00 p.m. (dinner is being served at 3:30) for their Pastor’s Anniversary. Apostle Terrance Bivins is the Pastor. Everyone is encouraged to go to support our Pastor.

Also today October 27th at 5:00 p.m. the Youth (11 yrs and up) will be attending Judgment House at Hope Community Church 3033 Middleton Rd, Hudson, OH 44236. We will have dinner at the Golden Corral after morning worship. The cost for dinner is $5.50 for 11 & 12 years old, $12.98 for 13 and up. For registration please see Sis. Shantial Livingston.

This Wednesday, October 30th from 5:30-6:30 the Cancer Support Group will have a guest speaker, Christina Thompson from Summa Screens. She will discuss the importance of early detection, self breast exams and living a healthy lifestyle. All (men & women) are encouraged to come out and learn how to Maintain a healthy life through awareness.

Bible Study will resume this Wednesday, Oct. 30th at 6:30 p.m. We are studying the book of James. Read James 1:12. Everyone is encouraged to come out to study the word of God.

The First Friends Ministry is offering orientation classes for any mem-bers who have not completed your new members orientation classes. The class will be held on Saturday, November 9, 2013 from 10:00 AM - 1:00 PM. This is an excellent opportunity to complete all of your classes at the same time. Call the office 330-865-9472 to confirm if you will be attending the class. On Sunday, November 10, 2013, im-mediately following service, we will host a fellowship luncheon for all First Friends or new members who have joined New Hope since May 26, 2013. We are asking all ministries to send two representatives.
