1. Particulars of the Event

Organization: Estonian Capoeira Federation

Program: 1st Estonian Open of Sport Capoeira.

International Referee course and examinations for C and D category.

Workshop with Mestre Paulao Ceara.

A World Capoeira Federation licenced event.

Open to athletes from all around the world to join.

Athletes will score points that will go towards their world ranking.

Invitation to Athletes, Officials & Associations

It is the pleasure of the Estonian Capoeira Federation to invite all athletes, officials and delegates

to attend and participate in the 1st Estonian Open of Sport Capoeira in Tallinn, Estonia.

This international competition of Sport Capoeira is sanctioned by the World Capoeira

Federation. This is a IV class ranking event of WCF.

8. Registration

Registration for athletes

Registration opens: 1st of August 2019.

Registration closes: 1st of October 2019.

All the athletes must have International Capoeira Passport to participate in the competiton.

It is possible to buy the International Capoeira Passport during the Accreditation.

Estonian Capoeira Federation provides free accommodation for group leaders if at least 10

people participate from the country.

10. Referee courses

World Capoeira Federation is organizing International Referee course and examinations for C

and D category that will be held on the 11th of October.

Referee course: C category - 150 euro

D category - 150 euro

1. Everyone who take part in IRCE make online enrollment with following link in Google form:

2. All participants shall login the platform shown in this video https://youtu.be/tBnrawW-Ge8

and give theoretical examination (except participants who don't upgrade his Referee level, but

participate just in refresher course)

3. Send the assessment to: a.cerutti@csf.edu.au

4. Participants who successfully pass theoretical exam online will receive approval to his email

address from Andre Cerutti (Mestre Peixe.) who is a Chairman of Referee Commission in WCF.

5. Who successfully pass exam go to Estonia to participate in IRCE physically.

6. One or two days before the Tournament in Estonia IRCE will take place. And you will take

2-3 hours photo and video presentation explanation of Referee rules and competition rules. After

presentation "conditional Roda" will be organized at the same place and each Cadet (participant

of IRCE) will be called by Mestre Peixe to the conditional Roda. You will show your abilities as

Referee in that conditional Roda.

7. The next day in the real competition you will act as REFEREE in real time. And this will be

your final test as Referee.

8. Who successfully pass all these procedures will receive Referee card to his home address

within 30 days after completion of the event.

IMPORTANT :

1. Payment will be done during accreditation, which takes place 1 day before competition.

2. Price of refresher course (who doesn't upgrade his category, but just listen courses) - 20 Euro.

11. Workshop

Workshop by Mestre Paulão Ceará for beginners (at least 1 year of

capoeira) and advanced.

12. Accreditation

Please note that all athletes wishing to compete must hold a valid World Capoeira Federation

Passport at time of registration and must bring it with them to the competition location on the

date.

All athletes, coaches, officials and delegates will be required to pass the accreditation process.

Badges with entry permission to the competition area will be distributed at that time. Any

persons not in possession of a entry badge will not be allowed to enter the competition area

before, during and after competition scheduled hours.

All persons passing through the accreditation must show a valid photo identification.

13. Rules of the Competition

The 1st Estonian Open of Sport Capoeira will run according to the rules and regulations of the

World Capoeira Federation.

14. Fundamental Principles

All athletes, officials, coaches, delegates and assistants participating in the 1st Estonian Open of

Sport Capoeira must respect and accept the authority of the rules and conduct of competition as

set by the World Capoeira Federation as well as the onsite rules and regulations imposed by the

Estonian Capoeira Federation through the entirety of the event.

Individuals deemed to act or behave against the principals, rules or regulations may be subject to

disciplinary action by either the WCF or CAHKC or both.

15. Insurance & Liability

No insurance cover will be provided for athletes, coaches, officials, delegates or assistants during

the event. It is advised that participants seek and arrange their own insurance as required.

The World Capoeira Federation and The Estonian Capoeira Federation take no responsibility for

injury or loss arrised by participation in the competition.

16. Medical Services

Qualified first aid nurses will be on site during the competition to administer first aid as required

to competition. If further medical attention is required the first aiders will call emergency

services to have the afflicted competitor to the nearest hospital for treatment.

In case of being removed to the hospital the competitor must be accompanied by a delegate,

coach or team member and must have a valid photo identification and health insurance policy

with them.

17. Nutrition

All athletes, coaches, delegates and visitors are responsible for their own meals and dietary

requirements. If you do have special requirements please let us know by email in advanced so we

can recommend the locations closest to the competition area that can accommodate to your

specific needs.

18. Accomodation

At this time Estonian Capoeira Federation does not have specific affiliation for accommodation

for visiting athletes, coaches and delegates. The following is for your reference.

Estonian Capoeira Federation provides free accommodation for group leaders if at least 10

people participate from the country.

22. World Capoeira Federation

The World Capoeira Federation (WCF) is an international non-profit organization with the

objective is promoting Capoeira as a world sport. The WCF recognizes Capoeira as a cultural

heritage of Brazil and respects its historical roots and philosophies.

Today the WCF is the only international Capoeira institute on Sport Capoeira which standardizes

sport norms for Capoeira, organizes worldwide Capoeira competitions, Capoeira coaching

qualifications and international Capoeira referee courses. The WCF covers the whole world of

Capoeira.

Some of the major goals of the WCF are:

• Bring Sport Capoeira to be a part of the Olympic Games.

• Develop friendly relations and coordination with all national capoeira federations and groups.

• Cooperate with the sport organizations, including International Olympic Committee as well as

other organizations for the development of Capoeira.

• To train highly qualified sportsmen, trainers, referees, Capoeira Masters and other specialists

• To defend the interests and rights of the sportsmen, trainers, capoeira masters and other

specialists.

The next international Category I event from the WCF will be held in Russia on the in 2020.
