What is “to…” ?

“to do something” = Infinitive to

Sentence = Subject + Verb + Object

Verb + (to + Verb) = to Verb

“doing something” = Gerund(Noun)

(Verb + …ing) = dancing

Subject + Verb + (Verb + …ing) = I enjoy
