ESS Alpha-N E-Flash ECU Tuning Software for E46 M311
The ESS E-Flash OBD2 programming system allows the end user to upload the ECU tuning software directly to the car from any PC running Windows XP or newer. The system also includes full diagnostic and code clearing capability. Any future ESS software updates can be received by email and loaded directly to the car. The stock ECU software will be saved and can easily be restored in the future.
ESS S54 Alpha N ECU software is a result of 100's of dyno runs and exact calibration of all parameters to allow maximum performance gains with improved driveability/fuel consumption and stock engine longevity. Removed top speed governor is included, and you have the option of stock RPM limit or up to 9000RPM, default setting from ESS is 8200 unless otherwise instructed. The Alpha-N software is ideal for MAF less intake conversions.

A intake air temperature sensor with harness is included in the package and must be installed in the intake air-path.
Power is increased by 10-15 WHP when programmed for premium fuel (91US/96Euro). Throttle response programming is improved over stock. Euro software conversion is available for US spec cars with euro headers installed. Custom tuning available on request, vanos timing programming for extreme camshafts also available. ESS N52B30 ESS DirectFlash Performance ECU software is a result of extensive testing and exact calibration of ECU parameters to allow considerable performance gains on an otherwise stock car. The ESS N52B30 performance software is developed and tested in extreme heat in the Arizona desert as well as extreme cold temperatures in Scandinavia. The ESS performance software has updated throttle control, vanos, valvetronic, ign timing, AFR programming and improves overall engine response and performance.
When ordering this product you will receive 1 ESS E-Flash OBD2 programming system which will VIN lock to your car. This system can be used to program between stock and tuned, and it can also be used to load custom files/race fuel files/updates received from ESS over email. The ESS E-Flash system also includes full engine diagnostic and code clearing functionality.

ESS ME7 Steptronic Transmission Software for E39 540i33
Optimized steptronic transmission software, recommended for both for NA and Supercharged applications. Increases shift firmness under heavy acceleration and increases the transmissions capability to hold power during shifts. The software incorporates a higher 6300RPM shiftpoint, and must be used in combination with ESS Performance NA software or ESS SC software.
