Quartet Presenting A Musical Evening Friday At The Academy of Holy Names

On Friday evening, March 2 1 at the Academy of the Holy Names High School, 1075 New Scotland Road, the Canisius Quartet will present a concert of music highlighted by a mem­orial tribute to Fritz Kreisler. M~~mbt:!rs of the Quartet are Father Cyril C. Schommer, S.]. 1 violinist, Miss Barbara Cashier, violinist, Robert Schulzl pianist, and Miss Viola Brice 1 soprano. Murn to Receive Air Award Mr. Charles .M.urn, Executive

Director of Radio Station WOKO, will receive a United States Air Force award on March 6, in recognition of the Station's 110utstanding record in promot­ing public interest programs which further the Recruiting ob­jectives of the Air Force." Presenting the award will be Colonel Jack Buckley, Com­m and e r of USAF Recruiting Activities, Northeast Region (six New England States and New York}.

Col. Buckley, whose Head­quarters is at Stewart AFB, New­burgh, N.Y., will also host a luncheon on March 6 at Keeler's in Albany. Mr. Murn, together with other radio, television and newspaper people from the tri­city area will attend.
