Dear Families of St. Barnabas,

We have officially hit the midpoint of the school year! Our younger students will be celebrating the 100th day of

school soon and Progress Reports will be coming home. In January, we had a great month at school: students

worked really hard on their MAP tests and we saw a tremendous amount of growth; Catholic Schools Week was

filled with joy; and our students gave service to our community by collecting over 700 hygiene items for

homeless citizens. We also saw our teachers and students compete on the ClassH-Room!

On Thursday and Friday, February 13th and 14th, we will be holding our Progress Report Conferences. All families

are asked to attend a conference for their child – this will be the last round of conferences where we set aside

time for every family. Report Cards are only a month away, so students do have time to improve their grades.

Teachers have sent out SignUp Genius links to sign up.

Yearbooks

This year’s yearbook will include every student! Each class will have their class portrait plus a page of candid photos. Uniform Updates (2020-2021 School Year)

For the 2020-2021 school year, we will be updating our school uniforms. The

embroidered polo shirts and sweaters will use font that matches our school logo.

The Gym Uniform will use our school crest and current school colors.

The navy logo on gray background will be our new t-shirts; the gray logo on navy

background will be the sweatshirts and sweatpants.

Flynn O’Hara should have new uniforms available within the next few days.

Students may start wearing them this school year.

Students will be required to have the gray gym shirt starting in September.

Tuition & Enrollment Updates

• Tuition Payments are due on the 15th of each month. Timely tuition payments help ensure efficient operations at school and saves you money – avoid the $35 late fee!

• Enrollment for 2020: We are now accepting applications for the 2020-2021 school year! Please spread the word.

• Children’s Scholarship Fund application is now open for 2020-2021! Please

Interested in Volunteering or Chaperoning?

Any school volunteers are required to complete the PA State Criminal and the

PA Child Abuse clearances. Both of these are free for volunteers.

We would love to have parents and family members attend trips with

students. Also, we could use volunteers during Breakfast and Lunch times.

Lost & Found!

Please label your items!

We have had a lot of things left behind in our lost and found –

including sweatshirts, sweaters, jackets, and more. We encourage

you to label each of your child’s items.

We are partnering with “Mabel’s Labels” for a fundraiser. They sell

many types of colorful labels that stick on clothing and other items.

The school will receive a portion of sales. Please go to

Do you know a family looking for a great school like St. Barnabas? Refer a family and get a $150 tuition

credit!

HOW IT WORKS: IMS will offer a $150 tuition credit (applicable to November 2020's tuition bill) to any family

that refers another family who enrolls a child by October 1 and is up-to-date on all tuition and fees on Oct. 1,

2020.
