WHAT IS ESOS?ENERGY SAVINGS OPPORTUNITY SCHEME
The Energy Savings Opportunity Scheme (ESOS) is a new governmentpolicy that requires ‘large’ companies to undergo compulsory energyaudits. ESOS aims to increase energy efficiency to improve businessprofits as well as mitigate climate change, in response to Article 8 of
the EU Energy Efficiency Directive.
