Sub: Online appointment for special clinics in ESICHospitals.

Sir/Madam,

As you are aware that ESIC 2.0 reforms are under implementation phase. One of the

proposed initiatives among them was online appointment for special clinics conducted in all the

ESIChospitals.

ESI beneficiaries now have the option to book appointment online for special clinics

running in all ESICHospitals (2-4 pm).

The option to book appointment online is available on Common ESIC website for all

hospitals:

www.esicmodelhosptials.in

Only 10 appointments are permissible online for each clinic per day. Registration clerk has

to keep track of these appointments and on reporting to the hospital, has to issue a registration

number to the employee for the special clinic. The same clerk should check entitlement, before

registering him for the special clinic.

These patients may be instructed to provide the feedback for this online service as well as

about the treating specialist. The Medical Superintendent of the hospital may maintain feedback

record for both.

This issues with the approval of Medical Commissioner.
