What Law Says   pharmacies can sell (or furnish) up to 10 hypodermic needles or

syringes to persons 18 & older

  pharmacies can advertise availability

  registered providers must assure safe disposal of used needles or syringes

  participating pharmacists identified at neighborhood level

  across neighborhoods (s. bronx, harlem, lower east side, central & east brooklyn)

  answered by pharmacists (131) and staff members (480)
