Lost of Balise – An interesting case

Fault in Balise Group identification d i l liwas reported on a commercial line

near Rome causing sudden trains stop

Emergency brake was caused by “Lost Balise” error in a specific “Balise Group”. Immediate maintenance intervention and Balise Group replacement didn’t fix the problem

Caronte detected the existence of strong external interference from a radio station affecting data uplink frequency modulation.
