Introduction

With the advent of quantum physics science must now acknowledge that there are things occurring below our level of conscious awarenessthat dramatically affect us both physically and mentally. This is a book intended to provide a slightly different perspective about how and why we create certain experiences, both desirable andundesirable. And, how the Mind and physical body relate to one another on a quantum level to facilitate the creation of those experiences. Quantum is defined as the smallest amount of a physical quantity that can exist independently, especially a discrete quantity ofelectromagnetic radiation. This amount of energy is regarded as a unit. Psychophysics is defined as the branch of psychology that deals with the relationships between physical stimuli and resulting sensationsand mental states. It is basically a study of how the physical body and the Mind interact and will be the primary focus of this book becauseyour Mind and physical body work in concert to create your experiences. Most importantly, I hope, this book gives you some ideas on how to change undesirable experiences into desirable experiences using apersonal transformation technology called Hemispheric Kinesiology. HK works on the premise that if it stresses you to do something, youare not going to do it well, no matter what the activity. HK works within three contexts; the Morphogenetic Energy Field, the Mind, and the Hemispheres of the Brain. All these components thatmake up our beingness are integral and work together and dramatically influence the experiences we create. HK is designed to work on a quantum level, or below your level of conscious awareness. It is at this quantum level where you create yourlife experiences. Nothing physically happens unless it is first a thought. Take the Empire State Building in New York City. Someone had a thought about astructure. That thought was given to an architect who had further thoughts and had a set of architectural plans made. The plans were givento a general contractor who hired subcontractors to build it. The Empire State Building, like our experiences, was simply the physicalmanifestation of a thought. There is an old saying that you cannot teach an old dog new tricks. This is a testament to how difficult change is for just about everyone. There are basically three elements necessary to create change in your life. They are Sensation, Perception and Conception. Sensation is the capacity to experience; Perception is the capacity to be aware of what youare experiencing; and Conception is the birth of a new idea that will take you into a different experience. Please set aside your prejudices, beliefs and judgments and do your best to keep an open mind. HK is a little different twist on psychologybecause it will give you a perspective that lets you objectively look at the experiences you are creating and through that objectivity createpositive change in your life. HK was created with the intention of allowing you to help yourself facilitate and accelerate changes that will immeasurably improve thequality of your life. And, isn’t that what we are all looking for? There were many influences that went into creating HK. The first significant one was a book I read 25 years ago titled The Science of Mindby Ernest Holmes. If what you read in the following pages has as positive an impact on you as this incredible book had on me when I firstread it, then I would feel satisfied that I have made a positive contribution to my fellow inhabitants of planet earth. What’s so remarkable about Holmes’ book is that it was written in 1939! I’m reading and I come to a passage that reads, ”Intelligence isUniversal Mind functioning at the level of man’s concept of it.” I simply cannot convey to you the profound impact this one passage had onme in allowing me to understand that we all are different and unique, and our level of understanding is just as different and unique. In otherwords, you cannot fit 10 ounces of liquid in an 8 ounce cup. I simply won’t fit. I leave you to your own interpretation. But wait, there’s more. I’m reading further and I come across another spiritual thunderbolt. It read, “There is this thing that makes things outof itself by becoming the thing it makes.” There is a Universal mechanism in place and its only function is to create our experiences. Itoperates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. What a great way to segue into a very important part of the experiential creative mechanism known as the Morphogenetic Energy Field.

The Morphogenetic Energy Field

The second significant influence in creating HK was Dr. Rupert Sheldrake’s book The New Science Of Life. Every living being has an energyfield. In his book Dr. Sheldrake, a biochemist and plant physiologist, refers to this energy field as a Morphogenetic Energy Field or MorphicField. His book and hypothesis was met with a hostile reception by some scientist who accused him of engaging in pseudoscience. The hostility was clearly unwarranted. Dr. Sheldrake, with his hypothesis of formative causation, was attempting to answer twofundamental questions. What is the nature of life? And, how are the shapes and instincts of living organism determined? Biologists can, for instance, observe a cell dividing but, they don’t know why or what is motivating the cell to do it. An excerpt from hisbook may shed some light on morphic fields. “The hypothesis of formative causation, proposes that the form, development, and behavior of living organisms are shaped and maintainedby ‘morphogenetic fields.’ These fields are molded by the forms and behavior of past organisms of the same species and through directconnections across both space and time. The hypothesis brings into question many of our fundamental concepts about nature, brain function, and consciousness; in effect, it reinterprets the regularities of nature as being more like habits than reflections of timeless laws.” Dr. Sheldrake’s morphic field hypothesis not only offers a very viable explanation regarding physical form but also provides a medium thatwould allow us to gain a better understanding of things such as thought, behavior and consciousness, and what motivates and influences theexperiences we create. Biology is the study of larger organisms, whereas physics is the study of the smaller organisms. Biological morphogenesis is defined as thecoming into being of characteristic and specific form in living organisms. The problem in biology is that they don’t know what invisible forcemotivates a cell to do what it does. Questions like How do the cells use the polypeptide chains and proteins to create three dimensional forms continue to plague biology. Thereare three theories surrounding morphogenesis. The Mechanistic, Vitalistic and Organismic theories. The mechanistic theorists states that the dominant factor in morphogenesis is DNA. DNA is converted to RNA which in turn becomes apolypeptide chain or a sequence of amino acids. According to Dr. Sheldrake it is at this point that the mechanists abandon ship and leave theunanswered questions regarding morphogenesis to physics. Vitalism insists that there is an additional casual factor involved in living organisms incapable of being understood using physical laws. Thisparticular theory was too vague to hold any water. Lastly, and the one that makes the most sense to me, is the Organismic theory. I’ll let Dr. Sheldrake define this one:

"Organismic theories of morphogenesis have developed under a variety of influences; some from philosophical systems...organicistsproposed morphogenetic (or embryonic or developmental) 'fields'. The 'field' terminology was soon taken up by other developmentalbiologists, but it remained ill-defined, although it served to suggest analogies between properties of living organisms and inorganic electro-magnetic systems.”

What intrigues me about the organismic theory is they “suggest analogies between properties of living organisms and inorganic electro-magnetic systems.” Energy Fields! Hopefully after you finish reading this book you will understand why the organismic theory makes themost sense. The drawback is that it cannot avail itself of the scientific experimental process. Or, can it? In 1993 the US Army hired Dr. Cleve Backster to conduct an ongoing experiment. His previous work had been documented in a book titledthe Secret Life of Plants. The researchers started by collecting a swab of tissue from a volunteer’s mouth. They took the DNA sample andattached very sensitive equipment to it capable of detecting emotional responses by measuring the electrical field of the DNA. They subjected the volunteer to a series of emotional stimuli using pictures and videos in an effort to elicit emotional responses which theywould then measure and record using his DNA sample. They kept the volunteer’s DNA in a container in the same room and started showinghim images ranging from graphic wartime footage to comedy. As soon as the volunteer experienced an emotional response (high or low) hisDNA would simultaneously record a corresponding electrical response. They decided to move the volunteer’s DNA sample to another floor and repeated the experiment with the same response. The volunteer’sDNA, hundreds of feet away, responded immediately to what the volunteer was feeling. They then decided to move the volunteer’s DNAsample to another city some 350 miles away and repeated the experiment with the exact same result. And, the researchers noted that theelectrical responses to what the volunteer was feeling by his DNA sample were instantaneous regardless of the distance.

The researchers surmised that whatever this “field” was that was instantly carrying this information 350 miles from the volunteer to hisDNA sample was defying the laws of space and time. I firmly believe the “field” these researchers were referring to was Dr. Sheldrake’sMorphogenetic Energy Field. The Mechanists are still the heavyweight champs when it comes to the morphogenesis theory because it has enjoyed extraordinary successsuch as cracking the genetic code, and it will more than likely continue its dominance because it can, unlike the organismic theory, still proveitself using the scientific experimental process. The premise is that there is this morphic field, or an informational field that is handed down from generation to generation, and species tospecies that allows, for instance, a pregnant giraffe to give birth to a baby giraffe. This baby giraffe contains the identical physical form andcolor markings as the mother which was handed down through her morphic field to her offspring. There is also a consensus that this morphic field contains information relating to behavioral traits that the mother passes on to the offspringas well. Birds will fly south for the winter and salmon will swim upstream to spawn. Science may label this behavior as instinct. But, whatif they exhibited this behavior because this information was transferred from their parent’s morphic field to the offspring at birth? The offspring’s morphic field would contain information from both the mother and father’s morphic fields. I will admit that there areenvironmental factors involved that influence behavior but what about non-environment factors? This is where the morphic field hypothesiscan add another perspective to help explain the unexplainable. All these theories relate to biological morphogenesis but what about psychological morphogenesis? It is possible to use the same premise inpsychology? In 1959 C.G. Jung was quoted as saying: “In addition to our immediate consciousness, which is of a thoroughly personal nature and which we believe to be the only empirical psyche(even if we tack on the personal unconscious as an appendix) there exists a second psychic system of a collective, universal, and impersonalnature which is identical in all individuals. This collective unconscious does not develop individually but is inherited. It consists of preexistentforms, the archetypes, which can only become conscious secondarily and which give definite form to certain psychic contents.” The only term I take issue with is Jung’s use of the word “unconscious” when describing the collective “field.” Un- is defined as “not,” andthis collective field is anything but unconscious. I believe this collective field is intelligent and very conscious in that it, for instance, keepsall the planets in orbit and maintains order throughout the Universe. I believe Jung did not possess the language necessary to properly label this collective field. I am certain had he read Rupert Sheldrake’s bookA New Science Of Life, he would have referred to this collective field as a “morphic field.” My take on this morphic field as it applies to Hemispheric Kinesiology is that there is this Universal Morphic Field (UMF) that containsall information relating to the physical and non-physical world. And, according to quantum physics there is no difference. Incidentally, there is one discipline that refers to this Universal Field as the akashic records. Akasha is a Sanskrit word meaning "sky","space" or "aether.” It is a term used in theosophy (and Anthroposophy) to describe a compendium of mystical knowledge encoded in anon-physical plane of existence. These records are described as containing all knowledge of human experience and the history of the cosmos. They are metaphorically described as a Universal Library. The theory of relativity was in this UMF since the beginning of time and was just sitting there waiting for Einstein to pluck it out. In fact, Ibelieve the information contained in this UMF is so vast and boundless that it will solve any problem or situation that may arise for you.You simply asked and the information will make itself known to you. Some of the names for this UMF that other disciplines use are: Universal Intelligence, Universal Mind and Divine Intelligence. It is mybelief that mankind has an inbred inferiority complex because man has always believed that there was a Presence in the Universe greater thanhimself. A wise man once said years ago that it is done unto you as you believe. This UMF keeps the Universe in check. It keeps everything working as it should. Within this UMF are “morphic units” that containinformation obtained from the larger UMF. The information obtained from the larger morphic field by the morphic units will dictate itsphysical form and behavioral traits. These morphic units give birth to other morphic units, on and on, ad infinitum. Mom and Dad’s morphic fields, which are passed on to us, will be augmented by whatever we learn after conception. Although Mom andDad’s will dominate at conception, I believe the previous morphic fields from our lineage are somewhat watered down. The informationfrom Mom and Dad’s morphic fields and the information we learn after conception will merge and influence the development of ourpersonalities and the kinds of experiences we will create. Our morphic fields will contain information relating to our beliefs, self-image, relationships, how much money we will earn in a lifetime,

what profession we will pursue, etc. The question is - can the information in your morphic field be changed? The answer, which I hope toconvey to you in this book, is yes. Case in point, did you ever believe something for years and learned that it wasn’t true? Your belief about that particular subject changedinstantly. Yet, there is some information in our morphic field that is much more difficult to change because of the way it was stored. It wasas if the information was locked into the morphic field at the time it was stored. This phenomenon will be explained in a later chapter. So, how large is this morphic field? Since it encompasses everything in our known Universe, it’s pretty huge! See if you can wrap you headaround this. At one time it was believed that our Milky Way was the extent of our Universe. Scientists now have telescopes that can look13 billion light years into space and they are finding that our Milky Way is just one of 100 billion other galaxies out there containing 100billion stars. To fully appreciate the size of our Universe it would take you 10,000 years to travel to our nearest star. Our closest galactic neighbor,Andromeda, is 2,300,000 light years from Earth (1 light year equals 6 trillion miles). If we left on the next shuttle to Andromeda it wouldtake us approximately 630 billion years to get there. The size of our Universe is so incomprehensible that scientists have no idea how large it is. More recently, scientists believe they havecalculated the accurate age of our Universe to be 13.7 billions years! Our home planet is extraordinary when you consider that Earth is rotating at more than 900 miles per hour and orbiting our Sun at 66,000miles per hour. It is a true wonder that we can even stand upright. As you can clearly see if you were looking outward from your physical body into this morphic field its size is unfathomable. But, what ifwe went inward? We know about atoms which contain protons and neutrons surrounded by orbiting elections with there subatomicparticles known as quarks and neutrinos. The string theorists refer to sub atomic “shadow” particles created by atom smashers as sparticles. In fact, physicists have discoveredmatter as small as a billionth of a billionth of a meter. No doubt that one day they will have discovered matter as small as a trillionth of atrillionth of a meter. Then there is the subject of Dark Energy and Dark Matter. Scientists have no idea what they are, where they came from, or how to measurethem. The only way they can be measured is how they interact with matter. Dark Energy is an invisible force that permeates all of spaceand is responsible for the expansion of the Universe. Dark Matter is matter that is inferred to exist from gravitational effects on visible matter and background radiation and is also undetectable.Dark Energy accounts for 74% of the total mass energy of the Universe while Dark Matter accounts for 22%. The remaining 4% is matter. If matter only represents 4% of our Universe then the remaining 96% is antimatter or energy! No matter (no pun intended) how you look at it this morphic field it is incredibly massive. The information contained in this UniversalMorphic Field and its morphic units (you) exerts tremendous influence on what happens to us both mentally and physically. You can actually feel your morphic field. Put the palms of your hands together and rub them for about 10 to 15 seconds. Separate yourhands and hold them about 6 inches apart with the palms facing each other. Now, close your eyes and move your hands from side to side orback and forth slowly. When you feel a tingling sensation in the palms of your hands you have just been introduced to your morphic field. There is a part of your morphic field that is very instrumental in creating your experiences. It is called the Mind.

The Mind Earlier I had mentioned that there were three contexts used in HK. The Morphic Field, the Mind and the Hemispheres of the Brain. Allthree of these components function as one because they all are connected. All morphic units (you and I and everyone else on this planet) areconnected to one another, and all morphic units are connected to the Universal Morphic Field. When you set a goal to do something, one of two things will happen. You will either succeed or fail. What determines your success or failureis the information contained in a part of your morphic field called the Mind. This stored information is the information you will use whileattempting to accomplish your goal. If the information in your Mind supports you in successfully completing your goal, the accomplishment of your goal will be easy andalmost effortless. However, if the information in your Mind does not support you in successfully accomplishing your goal, theaccomplishment of your goal will be very difficult and require a tremendous amount of effort. The Mind is generally thought to be the seat of consciousness. It is made up of every aspect of our being. There are many philosophies thatview the Mind in a way that has created numerous fragments, i.e., the spiritual mind, the emotional mind, the etheric mind, etc. I found allthese subdivisions to be very confusing. In HK I rely upon the very old axiomatic metaphysical concept known as “cause and effect.” Several of the theories that support cause andeffect are, “for every action there is an opposite and equal reaction;” “water seeks it own level;” and “what goes around, comes around.” When we are dealing with your Mind contained within your morphic field we are dealing with something we cannot see. It reminds me ofsomething Einstein once said, “Nature shows us the tail of the lion, but I have no doubt that the lion belongs with it even if he cannot revealhimself all at once. We see him only the way a louse who sits upon him would.” Although I cannot see an individual’s Mind, I can see the experiences that Mind is creating. For instance, if I am working with someone whocan only earn $25,000.00 per year, I must assume that he has information stored in his Mind to support him in earning $25,000.00 per year,or he would be doing something else. It is important to note that the Mind contained within your morphic field supports you in everything you do. If you can only earn$25,000.00 per year, your Mind is supporting you, and it is doing so based upon information it has stored in its memory banks relating tomoney. Your physical body is merely acting out (i.e., $25,000.00 per year) based upon this stored information, and it does it automatically. To understand cause and effect, you must first understand that before anything physically happens in your life, it must first start as athought. So, if you want to change the undesirable experiences you are creating, you must change the thoughts that are responsible forcreating those undesirable experiences. For example, the information stored in the individual’s Mind is the “cause” ($25,000.00 per year) while the experience he is creating($25,000.00 per year), is the “effect.” The individual is creating this experience because his physical body is responding by corresponding toinformation stored in his Mind. The intention of HK is to provide you with a resource that would allow you to positively change subconsciously stored information so thatyou can create experiences that support you in improving the quality of your life. Before I explain how this is accomplished, it is important to establish a context and foundation whereby all the contributing factors to thisphenomenon (creating undesirable experiences) may be examined and understood. It is noteworthy to point out that in HK all we are dealing with is information. For instance, although an emotion is something we can feel, itis stored in your Mind within your morphic field as information. The Mind, functioning within your morphic field, has two parts. The Conscious Mind, and the Subconscious Mind.

The Conscious Mind In his book The Science of Mind, Ernest Holmes refers to the conscious part of your morphic field as the “knower” because it has the abilityto be aware of itself. It has the capacity to be aware of what it is thinking and feeling in the normal waking state. It also has the ability toknow what it is doing and why. One of the major functions of the conscious part of your morphic field is its use of volition. Webster’s defines volition as, “the act of using the will; exercise of the will as in deciding what to do; a conscious or deliberate decision of achoice thus made.” You are where you are in your life right now as a direct result of the choices you have made using the volitional part ofthe conscious part of your morphic field. The conscious part of your morphic field provides us with short-term memory and can only focus on one thing at a time. It uses the fivesenses; sight, hearing, smell, taste and touch, to collect information which allows it to experience awareness. The conscious part of your morphic field uses this collected information to formulate your self-image, your prejudices, and your beliefsystem. Its most important function is that it exercises its volitional capabilities by allowing you to set goals. The information collected bythe conscious part of your morphic field will influence the formulation and successful completion of the goals you set throughout yourlifetime. So, what happens when the conscious part of your morphic field, using its volition, decides to engage in some particular activity? Well, ittypes out a mental memo of instructions and sends it to the Subconscious Mind.

The Subconscious Mind When you engage in a particular activity, it is the responsibility of the conscious part of your morphic field to decide the nature of theactivity. The conscious part will send instructions to the subconscious part, “Send me all the information you have relating to this activity.” If the information accessed from the subconscious part of your morphic field is supportive in nature, you will perform the activity easilyand efficiently. However, if the information accessed is not supportive or contradicts the goal set by the conscious part of your morphicfield your activity will become very difficult and require a tremendous amount of effort. Ernest Holmes refers to the subconscious part of your morphic field as the “doer” because it merely does what it is programmed to do.Unlike the conscious part of your morphic field, the subconscious part does not have the capacity to exercise volition or choice it merely“does” what it is programmed to do. The subconscious part of your morphic field “acts out” through your physical body and uses information it has stored in its memory banksrelating to the particular activity. This acting out is done instantaneously and automatically. This stored information arrived in thesubconscious part of your morphic field through the conscious part using your five senses (sight, hearing, smell, taste, and touch). To more fully understand this acting out phenomenon, remember when you were a child learning how to tie your shoes. At first it required atremendous amount of time and concentration. Now, you do it without consciously thinking because it has become a subconscious act. The same thing happens when you engage in a particular activity. Your physical body automatically acts out based upon informationobtained from the subconscious part of your morphic field relating to everything from the kinds of intimate relationships you willexperience to the amount of money you will earn in a year. The subconscious part of your morphic field is a storage facility for all information that enters through the conscious part. The oneimportant feature to note about the subconscious part of your morphic field is that when it is storing information it is impersonal. It doesn’tsay, “I am not going to store this experience because it was a bad experience.” IT STORES EVERYTHING! It also provides you with long-term memory, and is where your belief system is housed. If you have information stored that you can onlyearn $25,000.00 per year, your physical body will reciprocate by only allowing you to earn $25,000.00 per year. It has no other choice butto use the information available. The subconscious part of your morphic field will continue to create this experience for you until youchange the subconsciously stored information. Additionally, the subconscious part of your morphic field does not have a sense of humor and cannot distinguish between something real orimagined. If you don’t believe me, try telling someone who has a fear of heights they have nothing to be afraid of. You can clearly see howpowerful our beliefs are and that they have a tremendous influence, both positive and negative, over the decisions we make throughout ourlives. The subconscious part of your morphic field can be likened to the hard drive of your computer with one notable exception. When using acomputer, you have the option of saving or erasing the information on your screen. Every piece of information that enters this subconsciousdomain is stored for future use. The conscious part of your morphic field will use this subconsciously stored information at some point in the future when it engages in anactivity that corresponds to the information in storage. It will provide the conscious part of your morphic field with whatever information ithas available. The information can be supportive or non-supportive in nature. When subconsciously accessed information is non-supportive, the physical body will manifest stress. For instance, let’s say you set a goalto earn $75,000.00 per year (the goal could be $750,000.00, $7,500,000.00, etc.. Everything is relative), and the information you have storedsubconsciously is that you are only capable of earning $25,000.00 per year. Your physical body will immediately manifest stress. The subconscious part of your morphic field is basically telling the conscious part, “I do not have the information stored to support you inearning $75,000.00 per year; however, I do have information stored to support you in earning $25,000.00 per year.” The end result, you aregoing to earn $25,000.00 per year. WHENEVER THERE IS CONFLICT BETWEEN THE CONSCIOUS PART OF YOUR MORPHIC FIELD AND THESUBCONCIOUS PART, THAT CONFLICT WILL ALWAYS MANIFEST IN YOUR PHYSICAL BODY AS STRESS! It’s as if the conscious and subconscious part are not on the same page. When stress is present in the physical body, it will always weakenthe body. It is when your physical body is in this “weakened” state that your physical body will sabotage your activity and keep you inyour comfort zone ($25,000.00 per year). It’s as if your physical body goes on red alert because the information in the conscious part of your morphic field ($75,000.00 per year)

does not match the information stored and accessed from the subconscious part ($25,000.00 per year). The subconscious part, acting outthrough your physical body, will do everything in its power to sabotage any of your efforts to earn more than $25,000.00 per year. What is so perplexing about this anomaly is that it is all happening below your level of conscious awareness. There is a very integralcomponent of the Mind that gets involved when the conscious and subconscious part of your morphic field interact. It is known to as yourCritical Factor.

The Critical Factor After information enters the conscious part of your morphic field, it is reviewed prior to storage in the subconscious part. Theresponsibility for this task belongs to a component of your morphic field known as your Critical Factor. Your Critical Factor literallycriticizes or reviews information that comes into conscious awareness. Upon completing its review, your Critical Factor must make a decision regarding the disposition of the information. Your Critical Factor hastwo options. It can either store the information, or reject it. Everyone knows that the color of the sky is blue, but suppose I told you that the color of the sky was red. When that statement enters theconscious part of your morphic field, your Critical Factor will stop it momentarily and say, “Let me check the information I have insubconscious storage relating to the color of the sky.” Your Critical Factor checks and discovers that the information stored in the subconscious part of your morphic field indicates that the colorof the sky is blue. Your Critical Factor proceeds to reject the statement, “The color or the sky is red.” All this happens instantaneously. Let’s examine the guy who wants to earn $75,000.00 per year and can only earn $25,000.00 per year. When he sets a goal to earn$75,000.00 per year the conscious part of his morphic field will send instructions to the subconscious part, “Send me all the informationyou have stored relating to earning $75,000.00 per year.” His Critical Factor will stop this information before it hits the subconscious part of his morphic field and say, “Let’s see what kind ofinformation we have in subconscious storage relating to earning $75,000.00 per year.” The Critical Factor checks and discovers that the information stored indicates that his earning cap is $25,000.00 per year and proceeds toreject the statement. It’s as if his Critical Factor instructs the subconscious part of his morphic field to go on red alert and proceeds tosabotage any attempt he may make to earn more than $25,000.00 per year. It is absolutely crucial that you understand the role your Critical Factor plays in sabotaging the successful accomplishment of your goals. Itis not doing it vindictively. It is completely impartial and unbiased. Your Critical Factor is simply saying, “If I cannot find the informationto support your goal, it is not going to happen.” Imagine your Critical Factor as a guard, and that it is guarding all information coming into and leaving the subconscious part of your morphicfield. How do you change this information? How do you change subconsciously stored information in your morphic field preventing youfrom creating the kind of lifestyle you would like to create? In order to change undesirable subconsciously stored information, we must achieve what is referred to as Critical Factor Bypass.

Critical Factor Bypass Critical Factor Bypass occurs when new information is allowed to bypass the Critical Factor of your morphic field in an effort to change oldinformation stored in the subconscious part. HK can achieve Critical Factor Bypass enabling you to literally create new subjective constructs by changing subconsciously storedinformation within your morphic field. Using HK to achieve Critical Factor Bypass allows us to accelerate change for the individuals whoexperience it. In order to more fully understand Critical Factor Bypass, we must first look to the advertising industry. On many occasions advertising agencies will send sales copy to a psychologist, and ask, “Will this copy achieve Critical Factor Bypass forour product or service?” The ad agencies know that if they can achieve Critical Factor Bypass on anyone who hears or sees theircommercials, their chances of selling their product or service are greatly enhanced. They carefully choose the people who star in thesecommercials, carefully choose the wording, and carefully choose the scenarios. How can they motivate someone to buy their product or service? One way is using fear. It cannot be done blatantly. It must be subtle andthey accomplish this using authority figures. Have you ever noticed that in many commercials ad agencies will use policemen, judges, doctors, or firemen? All these professions represent authority figures and the ad agencies know that when a policeman tells you to dosomething, you normally do it without question. You do what you are told because the policeman was able to achieve Critical FactorBypass. Another very subtle tactic ad agencies will use to create Critical Factor Bypass is race and gender. I once saw a print ad that contained aCaucasian, an African-American, an Asian, an older gentleman, an older woman, a young man, and a young woman. They covered a lot ofbases with that ad and they did it subjectively or below your level of conscious awareness. Sometimes the ad agencies will appeal to your emotions. I am certain you have seen the Michelin Tire commercial with a baby sitting in atire. That commercial has been running for years. This particular commercial has been successful because the ad agency was able to achieveCritical Factor Bypass by using the baby to appeal to the emotions of the viewer. Michelin must be selling a lot of tires, or they would not continue to use this very effective commercial. Some of the other tactics used by adagencies are humor, sex and money. In fact, the next time you view or hear a commercial advertisement, ask yourself, “What are they doingwith this commercial in an effort to achieve Critical Factor Bypass?“ If you have ever seen a hypnotist swinging a chain with a medallion on the end, back and forth, in front of someone’s eyes and asking themto keep their eyes on the medallion, the hypnotist was attempting to achieve Critical Factor Bypass. Because the conscious part of your morphic field can only focus on one thing at a time, the hypnotist was attempting to sneak around thesubject’s conscious part while it was preoccupied with looking at the medallion. This procedure would allegedly give the hypnotist clearaccess to the subconscious part of the subject’s morphic field. I will explain in a later chapter how we are able to achieve Critical Factor Bypass using HK so that you can create the lifestyle of yourchoosing. For now, we have examined the nuances of the Morphic Field, the Mind to include the conscious and subconscious part, the Critical Factor, and Critical Factor Bypass. The morphic field must act out through the physical body. Its primary tool is the Brain.

The Brain The conscious and subconscious part of your morphic field represents the etheric or invisible component of our beingness and must use thebrain to communicate with our physical bodies. The brain is a part of the Central Nervous System composed of approximately 10 billion nerve cells. Each cell is linked to one another, andtogether they are responsible for the control of all functions in the physical body. The brain disseminates these instructions throughout thephysical body using information provided by your morphic field in the form of electrical impulses. That’s because the morphic field is infact an electrical informational energy field. For the purposes of our discussion the brain is an organ consisting of three major components. The Left Hemisphere, the Right Hemisphereand the Corpus Callosum. Although these three components are integral, they each have very specific and different functions, and thesecomponents can function independently should the need arise. The Left Hemisphere of the brain controls the right side of the physical body, while the Right Hemisphere controls the left side. We needonly look at a stroke victim to understand this phenomenon. Notice that generally only one side of the body is affected by the stroke and may experience paralysis. That’s because the hemisphere of thebrain on the opposite side of the affected area was so severely damaged during the stroke that it manifested as paralysis. The corresponding side of the stroke victim’s physical body is not receiving electrical impulses (information) from the damaged hemisphereresulting in partial or total paralysis. There are degrees of dysfunction between the brain and the physical body following a stroke and totalparalysis represents the extreme. Since the Left and Right Hemispheres of the brain can function independently and have their own responsibilities, they need some way tocommunicate. This is accomplished using the “corpus callosum.” The corpus callosum is a band of nerve fibers connecting the Left and Right Hemispheres of your brain. The hemispheres use the corpuscallosum to share and exchange information. Information eventually disseminated to the physical body. In fact, there are individuals who were born without a corpus callosum. One such person is Kim Peek. He is a savant. Although he hasproblems with coordination and mobility his memory is so incredible that he has a mental library of 9,000 books – including anencyclopedia. Although the absence of a corpus callosum is rare it is not always indicative that physical functional disorders will manifest. Accordingly, some individuals born without a corpus callosum suffer no ill effects from the condition. What I realized in my research in working with people from all walks of life was that the hemispheres of the brain have a tendency to“weaken” or “switch off.” When one hemisphere is switched off, the opposite hemisphere will dominate. This switching off phenomenon isthe result of an electrical short circuit in the morphic field. For instance, if your Left Hemisphere is switched off, your Right Hemisphere will dominate your thoughts and actions. The hemispheres ofyour brain are continually influenced by and are reacting to stimuli in your immediate environment. The brain, working within your Morphic Field, does basically three things. It processes (learns), stores, and disseminates information. Whatkind of information? That would be any and all information relating to pictures, sounds, fragrances, culinary data, and touch. All three of themajor components of the brain come into play when the brain is exercising these functions. Let’s first examine the Left Hemisphere of thebrain.

The Left Hemisphere When the Left Hemisphere of the brain processes (learns) information, it only understands words, language and numbers. That’s because theLeft Hemisphere processes information sequentially, or one piece at a time. The Left Hemisphere is one-dimensional, and can only focus on one thing at a time. The Left Hemisphere controls the right side of thephysical body and it accomplishes this by sending information in the form of electrical impulses within your morphic field. When the Left Hemisphere of the brain weakens or switches off during the processing or learning stage, it’s as if an electrical short circuitoccurs in the physical part of your morphic field. Not all of the incoming information gets stored in the hemisphere that is switched off. For instance, if your Right Hemisphere is switched off during your learning experience, the incoming information will store in your LeftHemisphere. It is not a total switch off. On a scale of 1 to 10 your Right Hemisphere might be a 2, and your Left Hemisphere might be a 9. Now, because there was little or no information stored in your Right Hemisphere, when it’s time for your brain to retrieve and disseminatethe information to you at some point in the future, you will only receive information, or a majority of the information, from your LeftHemisphere. It’s as if only part of the information registered during the learning and storage process. When the Left Hemisphere of the brain stores information, it will only store sequential information such as words, language and numbers. Itwill store information that is logical and organized. In other words, the information stored in the Left Hemisphere must be structured. When the brain disseminates information to the physical body through your morphic field, the Left and Right Hemispheres deal withdifferent and specific information. The Left Hemisphere of the brain provides the physical body with the following information, attributesand qualities: Logic, action, decision making, critical, one-dimensional, mechanical, compulsive, doubt, cautious, judgmental, hard working, limitation, shame, rational, stoic, organization, reasoning, specificity, scientific, serious, auditory, structure, boundaries, rules, rigidity, opinionated, intense, impersonal, cold, unfeeling, introverted, controlled, predictable, restricted, precise, conservative, quiet, hard, intolerant, temporal(the now), cautious and finite. When you engage in an activity and the Right Hemisphere of your brain is weak or switched off, the physical part of your morphic field isreceiving the majority of its information from your Left Hemisphere. This causes you to become left-brain dominant while you are engagedin that particular activity. The results, you will exhibit one or more of the personality traits listed on the previous page. For example, a left-brain dominant individual is very introverted, dresses conservatively, and is very structured. I am not saying these aregood or bad traits, it’s just that this switching off anomaly causes your behavior to become extreme and adversely affects the left braineddominant individual’s ability to constructively interact with others. I believe this switching off phenomenon is one reason that science speculates that we only use 10% of our brain. Now let’s examine theRight Hemisphere.

The Right Hemisphere When the Right Hemisphere of the brain processes information, it only understands movement and pictures. That’s because the RightHemisphere is spatial and can process information collectively rather than sequentially. This collectiveness allows it to process largeamounts of information at one time. For instance, if you were looking at a picture of a landscape with your Left Hemisphere, you would have to look at every piece of thepicture individually because the Left Hemisphere processes information sequentially. You cannot see the whole picture if you are only looking at one piece. The collective capabilities of the Right Hemisphere allows you to seethe whole picture, while the Left Hemisphere provides you with the capacity to structure the collective information in the form ofdiscernible images. When the brain disseminates information to the physical part of your morphic field, the Right and Left Hemispheres deal with different andspecific information. The Right Hemisphere of the brain provides the physical body with the following information, attributes and qualities: Feelings, emotions, relaxation, beliefs, creativity, flexibility, physical movement, tolerance, visualization, artistic, spatial, self-esteem,forgiveness, no boundaries, unstructured, generalizations, procrastination, compassion, optimism, passivity, funny, unreasonable, loud, expressive, foolish, passion, charming, intuition, love, no control, multi-dimensional, imagination, addictions, lazy, laid back, open-minded,unorganized and infinite. When the Left Hemisphere of your brain is weak or switched off, the Right Hemisphere will dominate your activities, from your decisionmaking to your personality. Since the physical part of your morphic field is receiving the majority of its information from the RightHemisphere of your brain, you will exhibit one or more of the above listed personality traits and attributes. Think of the many times you have procrastinated in your life, or how many times have you been very passionate about a particular cause? It is during these times when the Left Hemisphere of your brain was switched off, and your Right Hemisphere was dominating yourthinking. The objective of HK is to help you switch on both hemispheres of your brain in relationship to a thought, statement or action. Having bothhemispheres of your brain switched on insures that you will have access to information such as judgment, analysis and structure (LeftHemisphere), as well as creativity, imagination and intuition (Right Hemisphere). With both hemispheres of your brain providing the physical part of your morphic field with information, you will experience total balancein every decision you make that affects your life. It’s as if you enter this state of neutrality because your thinking is not influenced by logicor emotion, but is instead neutral. For instance, the Left Hemisphere of your brain represents rigidity while your Right Hemisphere represents flexibility. By themselves theycan create some pretty erratic behavior patterns. But, when you mix them both together you get something else. It’s not rigidity orflexibility, but instead this wordless state (because there is no word for being rigid and flexible at the same time) of neutrality. A great analogy for explaining hemispheric balance is water. The Right Hemisphere can be likened to boiling hot water, while the LeftHemisphere is ice-cold water. By themselves, their temperatures are very uncomfortable. However, when you mix them together, you get a warm, comfortable and balanced temperature. When both hemispheres of your brain areswitched on, you enter a mental space that athletes refer to as “The Zone.” Another salient difference between the hemispheres worthy of note is that the Left Hemisphere deals with “old” information, while theRight Hemisphere deals with “new” information. This influences how the hemispheres of your brain will handle a specific task. Let’sassume you have just purchased something that requires assembly. The Left Hemisphere of your brain will approach the task by saying something like, “Where are the instructions to this thing; I can’t putthis together without the directions!” Remember that because the Left Hemisphere is using old information, it is basically saying, “Show methe way someone else did it then I can do it.” Conversely, the Right Hemisphere will approach that same task by saying, “Hey, even if we don’t have the instructions, let’s put ittogether anyway.” That’s because the Right Hemisphere is providing the physical body with new information in the form of creativity, andwill figure it out eventually. The Right Hemisphere will risk (no instructions), while the Left Hemisphere will tend to play it safe (musthave instructions). Let’s assume you have to make a decision regarding a business venture you are about to enter. If you are left brain dominant you will lookover the facts and figures relating to the deal and say something like, “All the figures look like they are in order, let’s proceed.” If you are right brain dominant, you will probably enter the deal without looking at facts or figures because there will be no structure to yourthought processes. Right brain dominant individuals have a tendency to be overly trusting, to a fault, with people they do business with. When you have both hemispheres of your brain strong or switched on, you will look at the same deal and say something like, “You know,

these numbers look ok, but something doesn’t feel right about this deal.” With access to structure, judgment and organization (LeftHemisphere), and creativity, intuition and feeling (Right Hemisphere), every decision you make supports you making the right decision. When I do private sessions using HK, it is imperative that we know what activity is taking place in the morphic field within the physicalbody in relationship to a statement, thought or action. This is accomplished using Muscle Testing.

Muscle Testing

There are three vital pieces of information that muscle testing allows me to obtain in relationship to a statement, thought or action. First, muscle testing allows me to determine whether the physical body contained within your morphic field is weak or strong. Secondly, muscle testing allows me to determine the condition of the hemispheres of the brain in relationship to the statement, thought oraction. Thirdly, and most importantly, muscle testing allows me to validate that a change has occurred in the physical part of the morphic fieldrelating to the statement, thought or action in question. Muscle testing is a technique that has been widely used in the alternative health field for years and used in a variety of applications. I usemuscle testing to determine whether stress is present in the physical part of the morphic field relating to a statement, thought or action. Since the physical body is merely acting out based upon information contained in your morphic field, muscle testing allows me to tap intothe subconsciously stored information relating to the subject matter. In his book “Switching On,” Dr. Paul Dennison defines muscle testing as: “Muscle testing is the art of isolating and testing one muscle at a time in order to determine if it is ‘weak’ or ‘strong’, relative to the strength of the individual being tested.” There are forty-two muscle groups in the physical body. In HK, I muscle test the deltoid muscle. The deltoid is the larger triangular muscleof the shoulder, which raises the arm away from the side. If you held your right arm straight out from your side, parallel to the ground, and lifted your arm upward from that point, it is the deltoidmuscle that allows you to execute that movement. When I muscle test someone I will ask them to:

1. Stand with weight evenly distributed on both feet;2. I have the subject hold his left arm straight out or parallel to the ground;3. I face the subject standing in front of the outstretched arm;4. I ask the subject to look straight ahead and extend the fingers of his outstretched arm so that they are parallel to the ground;5. I place my left hand on the subject’s left shoulder for support;6. I place my right hand, using only two fingers (index and middle fingers) on top of the subject’s outstretched arm between the elbow

and wrist;7. The subject is now ready to be muscle tested;8. I will ask the subject to resist upwards slightly, towards the sky, while I apply about 2 ounces of pressure downward towards the

ground. This allows both the subject and I to get a feel for the muscle test. The key to muscle testing effectively is 2-2-2. Use two fingers, apply two ounces of pressure, and hold for two seconds. There are twopossible responses to a muscle test. Strong or weak. A strong muscle test indicates that my downward pressing motion was unable to budge the individual’s arm. A strong muscle test alsoindicates that there was no stress present in the physical part of the morphic field relating to the statement, thought or action for which Imuscle tested. A weak muscle test indicates that the individual was unable to resist my downward pressure, and could not hold his arm parallel to theground. A weak muscle test is simply evidence that stress was present in the physical part of the morphic field relating to the statement, thought or action for which I muscle tested. What does a strong vs a weak muscle test tell me, if anything? Well, if I had had someone make the statement, “I totally love and acceptmyself,” the strong muscle test signifies that the physical part of his morphic field would totally support him in loving himself. The absenceof stress in the physical body indicates that there is information stored in his morphic field that would support him in loving himself. On the other hand, had he muscle tested weak to the statement relating to self love, the weak muscle test indicates the presence of stress inthe physical part of his morphic field. It basically stressed him to say, “I totally love and accept myself.” The weak muscle test tells methat the information stored in his morphic field would not support him in loving himself. It simply means that there is conflict between the statement and the way the subject’s physical body/morphic field reacted to it. A weakmuscle test is the physical body’s way of saying, “I am not doing that because I do not have information stored in my morphic field tosupport the activity, or that the information I have stored contradicts whatever it is you want to do.”

The second piece of information I can obtain using muscle testing is the condition of the Right and Left Hemispheres of the brain inrelationship to a statement, thought or action. For instance, when checking the condition of the Left Hemisphere, I merely touch the left side of the head and muscle test. If I record astrong muscle test, the hemisphere is switched on. If I record a weak muscle test, the Left Hemisphere is switched off. I would do likewiseto check the condition of the Right Hemisphere. Checking the hemispheres of the brain allows me to determine how the subject would function while engaged in the activity for which we aremuscle testing. For example, if I muscle tested you for the goal of self love, and you had your Left Hemisphere switched on and your RightHemisphere switched off, your Left Hemisphere would dominate. You would exhibit the personality traits and attributes listed under the Left Hemisphere of the brain. For example, you may be overlycritical of yourself. Self-criticism would be one of the blockages you would experience that would prevent you from totally loving yourself. Without the Right Hemisphere to temper that self-criticism, you will continue to mentally beat yourself up. It’s as if you are going througha mental revolving door. Without the participation of your Right Hemisphere you would be lacking information such as forgiveness, tolerance and love. Thirdly, and most importantly, muscle testing allows me to validate, through post testing, that the stress relating to the subject matter hasbeen cleared from the physical part of the morphic field. If I have you say “I love myself,” and you muscle test weak, and then have yousay it again, and you muscle test strong, something obviously changed in the physical part of your morphic field and the way it reacted tothe statement. In HK, muscle testing allows me access to information stored in the subconscious part of the morphic field. If subconsciously storedinformation is to be changed, it must be done subconsciously. Also, muscle testing allows me to inferentially (indirectly) access informationfrom the subconscious part of your morphic field using your physical body. That’s because your Mind, morphic field and physical body are integral and mirror each other. What affects your Mind affects yourmorphic field which in turn affects your physical body. Muscle testing is simply a form of biofeedback. When the physical body is in a weakened state, it is engaged in sabotage activity. Muscle testing allows me to interpret the language used bythe physical part of the morphic field to communicate this sabotage state and that language is Stress.

Stress Taber’s Cyclopedic Medical Dictionary defines stress as, “…the result produced when a structure, system or organism is acted upon byforces that disrupt equilibrium or produce strain…the term denotes the physical and psychological forces that are experienced byindividuals.” Stress has an absolutely pervasive effect on the physical body, and the prolonged presence of stress in the body can manifest pathologically(disease). When stress is present in the physical part of your morphic field, it creates a myriad of physiological changes. Some of the more salient physical reactions to stress are:

* Increase in the rate and force of heartbeat;* A rise in systolic blood pressure;* Sweating of the palms and hands;* Dilation of the pupils;* Decreased digestion;* Blood distribution from less to more active organs;* Increased blood glucose (hyper-glycemia);* Etc;

The presence of stress in your morphic field interrupts the electrical signals between the brain and muscles causing your physical body toweaken. This weakened state disrupts your thought processes as well as your physical activity. When your body is in this weakened stateit is attempting to sabotage your activity because the information contained in the subconscious part of your morphic field contradicts yourgoal or intention. The contradiction in your morphic field creates an interference phenomenon known as a quantum frenzy. This quantum frenzy createschaos in the mental and physical part of your morphic field. It’s as if a morphic fuse in your electrical field has blown and your congitiveabilities become compromised. It’s not that your morphic field is being mean or vindictive. It’s as if the critical factor working through the subconscious part of yourmorphic field is telling the conscious part, “Gee, I would really like to give you your goal, but my hands are tied. The information I havestored contradicts your goal.” No matter what you do consciously to try to accomplish this goal, it is not going to happen until the information in your morphic field ischanged. You will be in the wrong place at the wrong time, or you will say or do the wrong thing at the wrong time. This sabotagingphenomenon is so subtle that you will be totally unaware that you are doing it because it is all happening subjectively or subconsciously. That is to say, it is happening below your level of conscious awareness within your morphic field. The presence of stress in your physical body as a result of this quantum frenzy in your morphic field adversely affects you mentally byweakening or switching off one or both hemispheres of your brain. We have already discussed the ramifications of this switching offanomaly behaviorally in an earlier chapter. Please remember that it is not what you are doing, but where you are doing it. Here’s why. Take a 12 inch wide plank and connect it to twobuildings 5 feet off the ground and ask someone to walk across it. No problem. Now, take that same 12 inch wide plank up to the 30 th floor and ask that same person to walk across it. I guarantee you will get a differentresponse. It is not what you are doing, but where you are doing it. When stress is present in your physical body as a result of the quantum frenzy in your morphic field relating to a statement, thought oraction, something is motivating your physical body to manifest stress. That something is a Synthesizing Event.

Synthesizing Events

A synthesizing event is created when the emotions from a traumatic experience actually synthesize (comes together) with the information asit is being stored in the subconscious part of your morphic field. The trauma literally welds itself (synthesizes) to the information as it isbeing stored subconsciously. It’s as if the information gets locked into your memory banks and the trauma is the glue. This synthesized information remains stored and dormant in the subconscious part of your morphic field until the conscious part engages insome activity relative to the information. Once the conscious part accesses this synthesized information, it will manifest in the physical partof your morphic field as stress because a traumatic imprint has attached itself to the information in storage. One of the best analogies I have ever heard in describing synthesizing events is to imagine that you have just purchased a brand new boat. The hull of this boat is clean and spotless. As you travel on water, barnacles will attach themselves to the hull. The more barnacles thatattach to the hull, the slower the boat will travel, until the boat accumulates so many barnacles it stops all together. Synthesizing events are like barnacles that have attached themselves to the hulls of our lives. If you accumulate enough barnacles they maymanifest as a nervous breakdown or some chronic illness. The barnacle analogy is likened to mental baggage that people carry around with them for years, and it adversely affects every aspect oftheir lives. When you accumulate too much mental baggage you will more than likely have to go on some form of medication (anti-depressants, etc) just to make it through the day. Let’s discuss trauma for a moment. Webster’s defines trauma as, “1. A bodily injury or shock; 2. An emotional shock, often having lastingpsychic effects.” As you can clearly see, trauma can be experienced both physically and mentally, and can range from mild to severe. For example, the physical trauma suffered in an auto accident will heal with time. However, the mental (emotional) trauma from the injurymay remain in your morphic field for years to come. There are two types of synthesizing events. The initial synthesizing event, and the subsequent synthesizing event. The following analogyexplains. Suppose you had a fear of heights. There was a first time you experienced that fear and it is referred to as the initial synthesizing eventbecause it was the first time the synthesizing dynamics came into play relating to the subject matter of the experience. As you are storingthe experience in the subconscious part of your morphic field, the emotion (fear) will synthesize with the information as it is being stored. This subconsciously stored information within your morphic field will remain dormant until you go near a high place again. Once thishappens the conscious part of your morphic field sends instructions to the subconscious part, “Send me all the information you have storedrelating to being near a high place.” The stored information from the first experience comes up, and since an emotion has synthesized with the information stored in thesubconscious part of your morphic field, it comes up as well. Your first reaction is, “Let’s get away from this ledge!” The second experiencecreated a subsequent synthesizing event. Once you have left harms way, the initial synthesizing event is once again stored in the subconscious part of your morphic field, and thesubsequent synthesizing event is stored for the first time. Now you have two subconsciously stored pieces of information (or experiences)to support your fear of heights. This imprinting process will repeat itself with similar experiences relating to heights as you add subsequentsynthesizing events to your memory banks. Imagine an onion. Its center represents your true potential to create the kind of lifestyle you are looking to achieve. Over the years you haveaccumulated layers of mental blockages (synthesizing events) that are responsible for the problems you are now experiencing with yourgoals. If you don’t get rid of them at some point your onion will continue to grow and you will carry it with you from experience to experience. As I mentioned earlier, you will need to medicate yourself just to make it through the day. In order to access the center of your onion (your true potential), the layers of mental blockages must be peeled away, and that is exactlywhat HK will help you to accomplish. These synthesizing events will manifest in your experiences as fear, anger, guilt, shame, etc. The critical factor will use these emotions asammunition to stop you from getting what you want and it will do it subjectively or subconsciously, or below your level of consciousawareness. It is my belief that 95% of all synthesizing events are stored in the subconscious part of your morphic field during a period in you childhooddevelopment known as the Egocentric Stage.

The Egocentric Stage

There is a period in your childhood known as the egocentric stage, and it occurred between conception and 7 to 8 years of age. It was duringthis stage in your development when most of the synthesizing events were stored in the subconscious part of your morphic field. Webster’s defines egocentricity as, “Regarding the self or the individual as the center of all things; Having little or no regard for interests orfeelings other than one’s own; Self-centered.” The egocentric child is so self-centered that the first thought they have when something goeswrong in their lives is, “What did I do wrong?” If you ask a three-year-old boy if he has a brother, he will answer yes. If you ask that same three-year-old boy if his brother has a brother,he will answer no. That’s because the egocentric child cannot objectify his experience, he can only experience. It’s as if he cannot seehimself. The reason for this phenomenon is that the egocentric child’s morphic field does not possess a critical factor. Remember that the criticalfactor allows the subconscious part of your morphic field to accept or reject incoming information passing through the conscious part. Without the capacity to criticize incoming information, the subconscious part of the egocentric child’s morphic field stores everything! Atage 7 or 8 the child’s critical factor starts kicking in. During the child’s teen years, the critical factor is operating at full capacity because asteenagers will repeatedly remind us, they know everything and adults know nothing. As we age this criticalness lessens and by middle age, most of us experience a softening of our attitudes and come to realize that criticismwas all a waste of good energy to begin with. The absence of the critical factor also denies the egocentric child the capacity to rationalize. You cannot rationalize with someone who isincapable of objectifying their experiences. Some of the other anomalies associated with the egocentric child:

· Absolutize – You either love me or you hate me;· Personalize – Takes everything personally;· Idealize their role models – If dad says I’m stupid, it must be true;· Shame – There must be something wrong with me;

Children have very limited resources when dealing with trauma. The only way they know how to deal with trauma is to block it out. Theyaccomplish this by switching off one or both hemispheres of their brains depending on the severity of the trauma. This switching off willinfluence their personalities and the decisions they make for the rest of their lives. In the 1980’s John Bradshaw brought to light information relating to dysfunctional families. In a dysfunctional family, the members aresimply not getting their needs met. But, what kind of a family environment would produce a functional child and/or adult? The followingquote is from a book titled Trauma and Recovery by Dr. Judith Herman: “The developing child’s positive sense of self depends upon a caretaker’s benign use of power. When a parent, who is so much morepowerful than a child, nevertheless shows some regard for that child’s individuality and dignity, that child feels valued and respected; hedevelops self-esteem. He also develops autonomy, that is, a sense of his own separateness within a relationship. He learns to control andregulate his own bodily functions and to form and express his own point of view.” Wouldn’t it have been nice to have been raised in this environment? The truth is that 99% of all families are dysfunctional. This dysfunctionleaves most children who experience it filled with shame and doubt. Dr. Herman continues: “Shame is a response to helplessness, the violation of bodily integrity, and the indignity suffered in the eyes of another person. Doubt reflectsthe inability to maintain one’s own separate point of view while remaining in connection with others. In the aftermath of traumatic events, survivors doubt both others and themselves.” If children are treated with respect they learn to respect themselves and others. If children are shown disrespect, they will learn todisrespect themselves and others. As a child is creating a self-image, the self-respect factor will no doubt play a significant role indetermining how the child will perceive himself throughout the remainder of his life. Relatively speaking, this switching off anomaly doesn’t make children functional, it makes them more functional. The resulting abnormalbrain dominance caused by the switching off is simply a coping mechanism. Although they may be able to cope more effectively withabnormal brain dominance, they will still suffer from the adverse ramifications. Also, it is during this stage in our development that we accepted beliefs about ourselves that simply were not true. We accepted beliefs thatwe were not tall enough, thin enough, smart enough, this enough or that enough. If you have ever accepted a belief about yourself that you weren’t good enough, IT WASN’T TRUE! Please know you accepted this beliefduring a time in your development when did not possess a Critical Factor and you were incapable of objectifying and rejecting thatinformation or belief. If there is no critical factor, there is no objectivity. Without objectivity we will believe things about ourselves that are not true. And,

believing in them makes them so. There is a phenomenon known as pre-verbal trauma. If the trauma occurred before a child had language, the trauma sensations will be held inthe physical part of the child’s morphic field. For example, if a child is held over a 7 th floor balcony, the child may experience a fear ofheights. As an adult, the child may not be able to name these “sensations” which may manifest as fears unrelated to heights because they arehappening below the adult’s level of conscious awareness. Here is an extraordinary example of how things we learn about ourselves during the egocentric stage of our development stay with us therest of our lives. One day a teacher asked her students to list the names of the other students in the room on two sheets of paper, leaving aspace between each name. Then she told them to think of the nicest thing they could say about each of their classmates and write it down. Ittook the remainder of the class period to finish their assignment, and as the students left the room, each one handed in the papers. That Saturday, the teacher wrote down the name of each student on a separate sheet of paper, and listed what everyone else had said aboutthat individual. On Monday she gave each student his or her list. Before long, the entire class was smiling. 'Really?' she heard whispered. “Inever knew that I meant anything to anyone!” and, “I didn't know others liked me so much,” were most of the comments. No one ever mentioned those papers in class again. She never knew if they discussed them after class or with their parents, but it didn'tmatter. The exercise had accomplished its purpose. The students were happy with themselves and one another. That group of studentsmoved on. Several years later, one of the students was killed in Viet Nam and his teacher attended the funeral of that special student. She had neverseen a serviceman in a military coffin before. He looked so handsome, so mature. The church was packed with his friends. One by one thosewho loved him took a last walk by the coffin. The teacher was the last one to bless the coffin. As she stood there, one of the soldiers who acted as pallbearer came up to her. “Were you Mark's math teacher?” he asked. She nodded,“Yes.” Then he said, “Mark talked about you a lot.” After the funeral, most of Mark's former classmates went together to a luncheon.Mark's mother and father were there, obviously waiting to speak with his teacher. “We want to show you something,” his father said, takinga wallet out of his pocket. “They found this on Mark when he was killed. We thought you might recognize it.” Opening the billfold, he carefully removed two worn pieces of notebook paper that had obviously been taped, folded and refolded manytimes. The teacher knew without looking that the papers were the ones on which she had listed all the good things each of Mark's classmateshad said about him. 'Thank you so much for doing that,” Mark's mother said, “'As you can see, Mark treasured it.” All of Mark's former classmates started to gather around. Charlie smiled rather sheepishly and said, “I still have my list. It's in the topdrawer of my desk at home.” Chuck's wife said, “Chuck asked me to put his in our wedding album.” “I have mine too,” Marilyn said, “It'sin my diary.” Then Vicki, another classmate, reached into her pocketbook, took out her wallet and showed her worn and frazzled list to thegroup. “I carry this with me at all times,” Vicki said and without batting an eyelash, she continued, “I think we all saved our lists.” Just as something negative we say in the egocentric stage of development can have lifelong damaging effects on the child, the same can besaid if we say something nurturing and respectful because that child will carry that nurture and respect with them to their grave and beyond. Please do your best to be mindful of how incredibly vulnerable children are during the egocentric stage in their development. When trauma from an experience is so severe that it causes both hemispheres of the brain to weaken or switch off, this creates a conditionknown as Dissociation.

Dissociation

As I had mentioned earlier, children do not have a lot of options when dealing with trauma. Children deal with it by blocking it out. Theyaccomplish this by switching off one of both hemispheres of their brains depending upon the severity of the trauma. When bothhemispheres of the brain switch off it creates a condition known as dissociation. Dissociation occurs when specific mental functions become separated (or dissociated) from the mainstream of consciousness and, as aconsequence, is lost to the individual’s awareness and voluntary control. Getting back to the individual who wants to earn $75,000.00 per year, the closer he gets to his goal the more stress he will create in hisbody. Dissociation is the Critical Factor’s most effective weapon for sabotaging his goal. When you dissociate, both hemispheres of your brain switch off. During this state of consciousness, you do not have access to creativity orintuition (Right Hemisphere switched off), nor is there structure to your thinking (Left Hemisphere switched off). It’s as if you are totallydisconnected from your body. There is a way to help you keep both hemispheres of you brain switched on during your attempt to successfully accomplish your goals, and it involves achieving Critical Factor Bypass. This is accomplished with the use of the HK Transformation Trigger.

The HK TransformationTrigger

We now know that when you experience a traumatic encounter, the emotions from that trauma will synthesize with the information storedin the subconscious part of your morphic field and adversely affect your future decision making. In order to clear the synthesizing event(s),a desynthesis must occur. The emotion resulting from the trauma creating the synthesizing event must be severed from the information stored in the subconscious partof your morphic field relating to a particular experience. In order to reverse this phenomenon, I employ the HK Transformation Trigger. The HK Trigger creates a medium to facilitate the release of trauma and all associated emotions connected to that trauma from thesubconscious part of your morphic field manifesting as stress in your physical body. The HK Trigger is used to create Critical Factor Bypass. This allows you to change the subconsciously stored information in your morphicfield contributing to the problems you are currently experiencing successfully accomplishing your goals. It works because “energy followsintention.” Every time you use the HK Trigger you are changing information in your morphic field on a subconscious level. Or, to put it another way,you are “peeling the onion.” Your objective is to get to the center of the onion which is where you will find your true potential to create thelifestyle of your choice. The more you do something the better you get at it. So, the more you use the HK Trigger, the stronger and more effective it becomes. TheHK Trigger was designed to help you peel away the psychological blockages in your morphic field preventing you from creating morewealth, health, happiness, enlightenment or, whatever else you would like to create in your life. Now, let’s show you how to use HK toclear these blockages within your morphic field. The first part of this book was intended to provide you with a context that would help you understand why you are not creating thelifestyle of your choosing. The remainder of this book will show you how to use HK so that you may gain maximum benefit from using thisprogram and thereby improve the quality of your life. Whether your goals are personal, business related or athletic in nature, what you are about to learn in the following pages will help youaccess, isolate and remove the initial and subsequent synthesizing events from your morphic field so that you possess the mental claritynecessary to successfully accomplish your goals. You will be shown step by step: 1. How to program in the HK Trigger;2. How to use the HK Trigger to neutralize synthesizing events from your morphic field;3. The Importance of setting goals;4. How to do the HK Journaling exercise. Let’s first show you how to program in the HK Transformation Trigger.

Programming In TheHK Transformation Trigger

There are three steps to programming in the HK Trigger: Step #1: Read the following statement aloud: “I, (state your name), now accept and integrate into my morphic field the HK Trigger which is stating, thinking or hearing the word ‘relax’and touching the thumb and index fingers of both hands, to immediately and permanently collapse to the zero point of my morphic field andneutralize all initial and subsequent synthesizing events manifesting as stress in every cell, organ and tissue of my physical body as well asmy morphic field, and to ‘switch on’ the left and right hemispheres of my brain as well as my corpus callosum so that all three componentsfunction as one allowing me to always remain in present time, and to activate that part of my morphic field that supports and allows me toexperience and be open to receive more wealth, health, happiness, peace, joy, prosperity, safety and security in my life, and all otherattributes I may require to help me experience the lifestyle of my choosing, to help me successfully accomplish all my goals, and to improvethe quality of my life relating to every statement, thought and action I experience, layers one through infinity, and I will never interfere withthe successful accomplishment of my goals, needs and desires, and every time I activate my HK Trigger it will become ten times morepowerful.” Step #2: Say the word “relax” and touch the thumb and index fingers of both hands, then release and open your fingers. Step #3: Read the statement in Step #1 again. Remember to read it aloud so that you involve as many of your senses as possible. The HKTrigger, which is stating or thinking the word “relax” and touching the thumb and index fingers of both hands, is now programmed into thesubconscious part of your morphic field. I intentionally integrated a statement or thought (the word relax) and a physical movement (touching the thumb and index fingers of bothhands) to get both the mental and physical part of your morphic field involved in using the trigger. The HK Trigger is intended to help you neutralize all initial and subsequent synthesizing events manifesting as stress in the physical part ofyour morphic field by collapsing them into the zero point of your morphic field. In physics “zero-point energy” is the lowest possible energy that a quantum mechanical physical system may have and is the energy of theground state. The quantum mechanical system that encapsulates this energy is the zero-point field. The concept was first proposed by Albert Einstein and Otto Stern in 1913. The term zero-point energy is a calque of the GermanNullpunktenergie. All quantum mechanical systems have a zero-point energy. The term arises commonly in reference to the ground state ofthe quantum harmonic oscillator and its null oscillations. Zero-point energy is sometimes used as a synonym for the vacuum energy; an amount of energy associated with the vacuum of emptyspace. When the term is used in this way, sometimes it is referred to as the quantum vacuum zero point energy. Every time you activate your HK Trigger imagine that whatever information in your morphic field that is stopping you from getting whatyou want is collapsing into the zero point of your morphic field and being sucked out into the vacuum of space. The HK Trigger is also intended to help you to switch on both hemispheres of your brain so that you have access to creativity, intuitionand imagination (Right Hemisphere), and logic, analysis and structure (Left Hemisphere). With both hemispheres switched on you will enterthe domain of “The Zone” and your success is assured. The HK Trigger will provide you with the mental clarity necessary to help you create a strategy that will support you in getting what youwant. This ultimately results in more consistency in your thought processes and dramatically enhances the successful accomplishment yourgoals. If the presence of stress in the physical part of your morphic field indicates that you have activated a synthesizing event and are in asabotage mode, then the intention of the HK Trigger is to get you in a relaxed state of mind. When you can remain relaxed and calm bothhemispheres of your brain will remain switched on, and you will experience a peak mental state no matter what the activity. During this peak mental state, both the conscious and subconscious part of your morphic field is on the same page. When the conscious partof your morphic field decides to do XYZ, the subconscious part will support you in doing it and you will do it well. Another very important feature of the HK Trigger is that will help clear your morphic field so that it can maintain a position of neutrality.

Think of the Swiss and their neutrality. That is what you are attempting to achieve within your morphic field. When you can remain neutral with the events going on in your life, you become objective. When you become objective, your thinking is notinfluenced by emotions or any other type of interference. The result, you see everything clearly. If there is a problem, you will see thesolution and act on it. Please note that when you hit your HK Trigger and you take a deep breath or yawn, it simply means that a shift has occurred in yourmorphic field. Something has changed. Use your HK Trigger throughout your day. For instance, if you experience a negative thought simplyask yourself, “Where did that negative thought come from?” Hit your HK Trigger and it will neutralize the thoughts origins. The reason the HK Trigger is so effective is because “energy follows intention.” If our intention with the HK Trigger is to collapse whateveris stopping you from being successful into the zero point of your morphic field and have it sucked out into the vacuum of space, and youagree to accept it and use it, that is exactly what is going to happen. Remember that the more you use the HK Trigger, the stronger it becomes. Let’s discuss the importance of Setting Goals.

Setting Goals

After Tiger Woods won his first Masters, he skipped a tournament, and came back and won the next one. During his post tournamentinterview, he was asked why he thought he won the tournament. Tiger Woods looked at the interviewer with surprise and replied, “Becauseit was my goal to win it.” How does the physical part of your morphic field know what to expect from the mental part if you do not set a goal? I hate to use clichés,but this one is so appropriate. When you don’t set goals, it is like a ship without a rudder. It just spins in circles. Setting goals gives yourlife purpose. Setting goals gives you a reason for living. ALWAYS SET GOALS! Here’s what you do. Write down your goals in order of importance by saying, “My most important goal is…; My second most importantgoal is…; Etc.”. Keep going until you have documented all of the goals you can think of. After documenting your goals create a comfortable environment. Dim the lights and light candles, do a short meditation while listening torelaxing music to get you into a mood that will best facilitate the clearing of your morphic field. Read your goals aloud. After reading the first one hit your HK Trigger. Then read the second one and hit your HK Trigger until you havegone through your entire list. Example:Step #1: Write a list of your goals in order of priority: I, (write your name), will take whatever actions necessary to successfully accomplish the following goals as soon as possible: 1. To earn, receive, bank and enjoy income of (fill in the blank) per year from all available sources, and will never interfere with its physicalmanifestation;2. To create and experience total peace of mind in my life, and never interfere with its physical manifestation;3. Etc. Step #2: Create a sacred space by lighting candles, meditating, listening to relaxing music, Etc. Read your first goal aloud, and hit your HKTrigger by stating or thinking the word “relax” and touching the thumb and index fingers of both hands, and opening them. Read your firstgoal again. Continue down your list and repeat the same procedure with your remaining goals; Step #3: After reading and clearing all the goals on your list, read the Closing Acknowledgement statement below and hit your HK Trigger; Closing Acknowledgement: “I, (your name), believe that there is that within me that knows what to do, how to do it, and it is taking action now to bring my goals intofruition, and I firmly believe and trust that everything that needs to happen is happening now to bring all my goals into physicalmanifestation now, and I confidently, and without fear, shame or guilt, accept the mental and physical manifestation of all my goals now. Itrust, believe and accept that whatever changes need to occur in my thinking, actions and my life are taking place now in a gentle, peacefuland stress-free manner.” After reading the closing acknowledgement destroy your list. Here’s why. The last and most important step in this process is “Letting Go”of the outcome. On of the ways you can let go is to create, as part of the ceremony, burning your list of goals in a very large ashtray andimagine the letters and words of your goals floating out into the Universe. Here is an excellent analogy of what happens if you don’t let go. If you plant a seed in your garden and go out and dig it up every day to seehow it is doing, nothing is going to happen. If you leave it alone and let nature takes it course it will germinate and blossom into a beautifulmagnificent living organism. And, that will happen to your goals when you can really let go of the outcome and assume a position ofneutrality and trust. There is a really effective exercise you can do for any subject or goal if you feel stuck. Let’s assume you are a businessman and your goalwas to increase your sales 25% within the next 45 days and you see no serious movement. Simply make an open ended statement like, “If Iknew how to increase my sales 25% within 45 days what would I do?” Here’s what happens when you do this exercise. When you ask the question, “If I knew how to increase my sales 25% within 45 days whatwould I do?” the conscious part of your morphic field forwards the question to the subconscious part of your morphic field containedwithin your morphic unit. And, this is the amazing part.

If the subconscious part of your morphic field contained within your morphic unit doesn’t have the information it automatically taps intothe Universal Morphic Field and the information will surface for you. Maybe not at that moment, but maybe a day or two later, or a weeklater the information will surface in the form of an idea, or maybe you’ll read an article in the newspaper. Somehow that information will make itself known to the conscious part of your morphic field. Did you ever forget where you put yourkeys and ask yourself, “Where did I put my keys?”, and within minutes you found them? It’s the same principle at work. A wise man oncesaid, “Ask and you shall receive.” Remember that if you are 30 years of age, it took you 30 years to create your belief system which is stored in the subconscious part of yourmorphic field. This information must be changed in order for you to create the lifestyle of your choosing. Once you set a goal to do something it creates a vibration that starts reverberating through the Universe. This reverberation starts a cosmicwheel turning and the successful accomplishment of your goal is assured. Using your HK Trigger will accelerate this process. Know this. Every time you hit your HK Trigger you are peeling yet another layer of these subconsciously stored blockages in your morphicfield preventing you from achieving success. Please do your best to remain objective during this process. There is an excellent process we use in HK to extract information from the subconscious part of your morphic field. It is called HKJournaling.

HK Journaling

Remember that one of the limitations of the conscious part of your morphic field is that it can only focus on one thing at a time. If you arehaving problems creating what you desire in your life, there is usually more than one thing responsible for those problems. HK Journalingallows you to bring up those “things” one at a time in order of their priority. HK Journaling entails the use of open-ended statements to access the subconsciously stored information in your morphic field manifestingas blockages to your success. Let’s assume you are an individual who has trust issues about the HK process working for him. It would be accurate to assume that if you had trust issues with HK working for you, you more than likely would have trust issues in otherareas of you life. And, believe me they are all connected. Using open ended statements simply make a list of all the things you perceive to be stopping you from trusting the HK process to work foryou. Be sure to write the first thing that comes to mind no matter how unusual it may sound. Here is how you would document this information. Excample:

1. One of the reasons I don’t trust the HK process is: It sounds like new age psychobabble;2. The second reason is: I am not buying into this morphic field concept;

3. The third reason is: Etc. After you have finished documenting all the reasons that are stopping you from trusting that the HK process will work for you, go to itemnumber 1 and read it aloud, hit your HK Trigger (stating or thinking the word “relax” and touching the thumb and index finger of both handsand opening them), and read it again. Go to item number 2 and repeat the procedure until you have gone through the entire list. As you can see, this process will help you to extract a tremendous amount of stored information from the subconscious part of yourmorphic field that will allow you to peel additional layers of blockages from this onion you have accumulated over the years relating to trustor any other subject for that matter. Here is why this process is so effective. When you read the first statement on your list, “It sounds like new age psychobabble,” theconscious part of your morphic field sends instructions to the subconscious part, “Send me all the stored information relating to thisstatement.” If the information accessed from the subconscious part of your morphic field creates stress in your physical body hitting your HK Triggerwill neutralize the synthesizing event(s) that motivated your physical body to manifest stress. When you hit your HK Trigger it will cause the accessed synthesizing event(s) to collapse into the zero point of your morphic field and itwill be sucked into the vacuum of outer space. Why? Because that is the intention of the HK Trigger and, at the risk of being redundant,“energy follows intention.” Always! Repeat this process every 30 days with your goals. You will be surprised to find out that your goals are not only different but, yourperspective has changed. It’s like peeling an onion. Every time you hit your HK Trigger you will peel yet another layer. When you get tothe center, you will be where you want to be. Another perspective that might be helpful is to simply ask, “What is my payoff?” For instance, if you are a woman that continually attractsabusive men in your life, the question is what is my payoff for attracting abusive men in my life? Is your payoff that you get to continue tobelieve that men are basically abusive? Or that you deserve being abused? It’s just food for thought. Please keep in mind that this process can be used for any subject or problem. For example, let’s say you would like to work on creating amore positive self-image. Again this exercise entails the use of open-ended statements to document all the things you like and dislike aboutyour self. Grab a pencil and a blank piece of paper and draw a line down the center of the page. At the top of the left side of the page write the wordDislikes. At the top of the right side of the page write the word Likes. Go to line one on the Dislikes side and list all the things you dislike about yourself. Please do your best to be truthful. When you havecompleted the list, go to line one on the Likes side of the page and list all the things you like about yourself. Example:

Dislikes1. I hate my job and I am afraid to change;2. I am 20 lbs overweight;3. Etc. After you have finished documenting all your dislikes, go to the top of the right side of the page and document all the things you like aboutyourself. Likes1. I am very intelligent;2. I am an excellent husband and father;3. Etc. I have you make a list of “Likes” because in HK sessions I will muscle test individuals for positive statements and they will muscle testweak. So, it is necessary during this process to clear for what appears to be a positive statement as well. Remember, any statement, thoughtor action that creates stress in your physical body simply means a synthesizing event was accessed from the subconscious part of yourmorphic field. It is important to also focus on the positive things going on in your life because if you only focus on the negative that is all you will see. Itreminds me of an old saying I once heard, “You are never as good as you think you are, but you are never as bad either.” Looking at both negative and positive (dislikes and likes) just gives you a more balanced perspective on what’s really going on for you. Here’s how the HK Trigger is used to clear the information that surfaced from the subconscious part of your morphic field for you duringyour self-image journaling exercise.

After you have finished documenting all your dislikes and likes, go to item number 1 on the dislikes side and read it aloud, hit your HKTrigger (stating or thinking the word “relax” and touching the thumb and index fingers of both hands and opening them), and read it again. Go to item number 2 and repeat the procedure until you have gone through the entire list. Then go to item number 1 on the Likes side andread it aloud, and hit your HK Trigger, and read it again. Go to item number 2 and repeat the procedure until you have gone through theentire list. Here’s why this is so incredibly effective. Suppose one of the dislikes that came up for you during your self-image journaling exercise wasthat you are 20 pounds overweight. When you read that statement, the conscious part of your morphic field will send instructions to thesubconscious part, “Send up all the information you have in storage relating to why I am 20 pounds overweight.” When that information comes up from the subconscious part of your morphic field, it will bring all synthesizing events associated with it aswell. When you hit your HK Trigger, it allows you to collapse those synthesizing events contributing to your weight problem into the zeropoint of your morphic field. And, they are sucked out into the vacuum of outer space allowing you to clear yet another layer of this mentalonion that has grown around your self-image by neutralizing them. Repeat this exercise in another 30 days to see if something different came up for you that may need addressing, and repeat the clearingprocess. To demonstrate how effective this process is in a therapeutic setting, years ago I did an HK session with a woman. The session dealt withfear of what would happen in her future because she didn’t have enough money. What was interesting to note about our session is that herright hemisphere was switched off for every statement for which I muscle tested. Using muscle testing to validate, I made certain that bothhemispheres of her brain were switched on and sent her on her way. Three days later she calls me and asks, “I feel suicidal, is that normal?” I explained to her that because we switched on her right hemispherethat she was now feeling what she was feeling. And, that some of the feelings she was feeling were feelings she had stuffed because her righthemisphere was switched off. I decided to do the HK Journaling process with her to see if we could determine what was causing her distress. I asked her to give me oneword that would describe how she was feeling. “Depressed,” she replied. Then I got a pad and pencil and asked her open ended statementsi.e., The first reason I feel depressed is…., The second reason, Etc. and started writing. Here is what came up. First reason I feel depressed is: I am afraid I am going to be evicted;Second reason: I don’t have any money;Third reason: I don’t know what to do;Fourth reason: I feel powerless. The remarkable thing about this process is that superficial things like fear of eviction and no money are obvious reasons for her depression

but buried under these obvious reasons was the real reason. She felt powerless. I then worked her through the list and had her repeat eachreason starting with the first and had her hit her HK Trigger. We spoke for a few minutes after finishing and I asked her how she was feeling. “I feel much better,” she replied. I could sense from herreply, which had a completely different tone to it, that she would somehow find a “Plan B” for her dilemma. When she initially called meshe was in a dissociated state of mind (both hemispheres were switched off). Working her through the HK Journaling process and using the HK Trigger helped her access vital information that allowed her to collapsethe depression she was experiencing into the zero point of her morphic field. The process also allowed her to switch on both hemispheres ofher brain so she was now capable of figuring out the best solution to her problem. While we are on the subject of money let me point out that 99% of the sessions I do relate to money, or the lack thereof. Ask yourself thisquestion, “How much money would I need in the bank to feel secure?” Is it $10,000.00; $100,000.00; $1,000,000.00? Money cannot make you feel secure because security is something internal, and you eitherhave it or you don’t. Security or feeling secure has nothing to do with money. I am certain that there are individuals walking around with$10.00 to there name that feel more secure than some with $1,000,000.00 in the bank. Just food for thought.

The Chess Match

Several years ago my wife’s son came to visit. Since he enjoyed playing chess we bought him a nice chess set. She picked up the basicprinciples, played a few games and then sat down a week later to play chess with her son. They played the first game and, of course, her son won easily. After the first game I asked if she would allow me to muscle test her forchess. She agreed. The first thing I did was simply have her look at the board with all the pieces correctly set up before the start of the game and muscle tested. She muscle tested weak and both hemispheres of her brain were weak or switched off. There was so much stress in her body just from looking at the board that it switched off both hemispheres of her brain. It’s as if her bodywent on red alert and dialed 911, and she dissociated. Since she already had the HK Trigger programmed in, I asked her to hit her trigger and muscle tested again. This time she muscle testedstrong and both hemispheres of her brain were switched on or strong. I then asked her to see herself winning the next game and muscle tested. She muscle tested weak and both hemispheres of her brain wereweak or switched off again. When the conscious part of her morphic field sent instructions to the subconscious part, “Send me all theinformation you have stored relating to winning the next chess game,” it created so much stress in her physical body that it switched offboth hemispheres of her brain and she once again dissociated. There was so much chaos in her morphic field she had no idea how to go about winning the next chess game. So, I asked her again to hit herHK Trigger and muscle tested her for the statement relating to winning the next game. She muscle tested strong and had both hemispheres ofher brain switched on. They started the game and I went back to what I was doing. A very short time later I here my wife shout “Checkmate!” Here is how shedescribed it in her own words. “I felt like the whole chess world opened up to me. I was so relaxed and even smiling as I felt so light, that I just ‘knew’ what to move. Therewas no decision, my hand went to the chess piece and I moved, just feeling it was the right one. I didn’t think Knight or Bishop or any otherpiece. I just knew what to move. In about 2 or 3 more moves, he was in checkmate. It was just minutes later and the game was over. My son knew that I was new to chess and quite stunned that I beat him, and so quickly. I remember there was no thinking or strategizing inmy head, I just knew the right piece. I didn’t even have to think or plan. The feeling was exhilarating. I was filled with confidence and ease.Exhilarating is probably the best word to express my inside world as I moved him into checkmate.” Notice that she used the words “knew” and “feeling” in her explanation. When both hemispheres of your brain are switched on, you haveaccess to structure, analysis and organization (left hemisphere), and imagination, intuitiveness and feeling (right hemisphere). Any activityyou engage in is simply done more efficiently.

Emotions Webster’s defines emotion as, “An affective state of consciousness in which joy, sorrow, fear, etc. is experienced as distinguished fromcognitive and volitional states of consciousness.” When someone is in an emotional state there is no volition involved in their thought processes. That is because emotions are activated in thesubconscious part of your morphic field. When someone experiences an emotional response triggered within their morphic field thatsubconsciously accessed information bypasses the conscious part of their morphic field and surfaces in their experience quite abruptly. That’s why most emotional outbursts are volatile in nature because the conscious part of their morphic field is not involved and that iswhere awareness is housed. An emotion is the result of a synthesizing event being activated. The emotion can manifest as a thought orphysically as a violent act. Remember that an emotional outburst is simply a warning sign that a synthesizing event stored in the subconscious part of your morphicfield has been activated. It simply means that someone pushed one of your buttons and your “stuff” came up. Remember that your objective is to achieve a state of neutrality during the course of your every day adventures. Remember also that all weare dealing with during this process is information. Although an emotion can be expressed physically, it is stored in your morphic field asinformation. Change the information in your morphic field and you change your experience.

Learning

When we examine this switching off phenomenon during the learning stage of our development, we can clearly see how the hemispheres ofthe brain influence how we learn. Let’s look at an elementary school student named Harold. He is learning to read the sentence, “See Jack jump.” If Harold had the RightHemisphere of his brain weak or switched off while reading this sentence, his Left Hemisphere would dominate. Now, keeping in mind that the Left Hemisphere processes information sequentially, Harold’s Left Hemisphere will know and understandthe words see, Jack, and jump individually. However, because his Right Hemisphere is weak or switched off, he will have difficulty achieving total comprehension. In order for that tohappen he would have to send the information from his Left Hemisphere, via the corpus callosum, to the Right Hemisphere, and requestadditional information such as a visual of a boy jumping. With both hemispheres of his brain participating in the learning process, Harold will achieve total comprehension. I have created a MindMastery program for learning titled Mind Mastery For Learning. If you are having difficulty in a learning environment it simply means that a synthesizing event has been accessed from the subconsciouspart of your morphic field. It will manifest in your physical body as stress and cause one or both hemispheres of your brain to weaken orswitch off compromising you ability to retain more of what you are learning. Students can also use the HK Journaling exercise to access specific problems they may be experiencing in the classroom and use the HKTrigger to clear their morphic fields.

Compulsivities and Addictions

A compulsivity is defined as repetitive behavior relating to, caused by, or suggestive of psychological compulsion orobsession. A compulsivity is basically an extreme need to control one’s environment. Addiction is defined as a physiological need for and use of a habit-forming substance (as heroin, nicotine, alcohol, eating, etc.) characterizedby tolerance and by well-defined physiological symptoms upon withdrawal. An addiction is an extreme loss of control. Since the Left Hemisphere of your brain deals with control it stands to reason that when your Right Hemisphere switches off you willassume a state of mind that will propagate your need to control your environment. When you are in this state you will exhibit an extremecompulsion to control. For instance, this exaggerated left brain dominance may cause you to wash your hands 10 to 12 times a day, or you will become aperfectionist doing something over and over until you feel it is right (and it never is). This anomaly is the critical part of the LeftHemisphere of your brain at work making certain that every t is crossed and every i is dotted. If there is no structure in your life you will fix it no matter what the cost. You will not only behave this way towards yourself and yourimmediate environment but, you will have a tendency to try and fix others. Of course, they don’t need fixing you just think they do becausethe critical part of your subconscious mind which is housed in your morphic field is dominating your thinking. Since the Right Hemisphere of your brain deals with addictions it stands to reason that when your Left Hemisphere switches off you willassume a state of mind that will propagate a feeling of total loss of control in your environment. That’s because when the Left Hemisphere switches off it deprives the individual of structure which results in addictive type behavior. Analcoholic may set a goal with both hemispheres switched on to never drink alcohol again. But, when his Left Hemisphere switches off(control), and the Right Hemisphere of his brain is dominating his thinking (no structure) he will resume his addictive behavior. Also, right brain dominate individuals don’t care if there t’s are crossed or the i’s are dotted. Another interesting contract between leftbrained and right brained dominant individuals is that if lefties have a task to do, they will stop at nothing to do it as soon as possiblebecause the Left Hemisphere causes you to act compulsively (need to control). If righties, on the other hand, have a task, they may put it off until tomorrow, or next week, or it may never get done because right braindominant individuals will have a tendency to procrastinate (no control or structure). If you have ever decided to exercise daily and it wastime to exercise and you thought “naaaa.” The Right Hemisphere of your brain is dominating your thinking. Your goal in doing the HK process is to obtain a behavioral state of mind that is neutral which indicates the absence of compulsive andadditive tendencies.

The Mind Mastery Programs

Over the years I have created programs to help individuals clear their morphic fields for success for a variety of subjects both athletic andnon-athletic. I called them the Mind Mastery programs. The athletic programs are:

Mind Mastery For BasketballMind Mastery For Coaching

Mind Mastery For GolfMind Mastery For HittingMind Mastery For PitchingMind Mastery For SoccerMind Mastery For Tennis

Mind Mastery For Winning The non-athletic programs are:

Mind Mastery For LearningMind Mastery For Money

Mind Mastery For Peace of MindMind Mastery For Selling

Mind Mastery For Weight Loss Each program includes the DVD Change Your Thinking, Change Your Life . It is a DVD that explains how we use muscle testing in HK andhow I am able to access the initial synthesizing event using muscle testing. There is also a segment where I show you how to muscle testyourself. I also created a 30 minute CD specifically related to each program. For instance, the tennis program includes a 30 minute CD titled WinningAt Tennis, while the peace of mind programs contains a 30 minute CD titled Peace of Mind. The CD is designed to work on the subconscious part of your morphic field. At the beginning of the CD I have programmed in the HKTransformation Trigger (the word relax). The CD contains over 100 statements relating to that particular subject. For instance, the tennisCD has statements relating to tennis and winning, while the peace of mind CD has statements relating to peace of mind and so on. Each statement is followed by the trigger word “relax.” The intention of these CDs is to help you peel away the layers of blockages fromthe subconscious part of your morphic field preventing you getting to the center of this onion you have created for yourself over the years. If you are not experiencing peace of mind in your life it simply means that your “stuff” is up. This stuff, in the form of synthesizing events,is responsible for the turmoil you are experiencing in your life. Repeated listening to the CDs help to reprogram your morphic field forsuccess relating to the subject matter. If you are 30 years old, you have 30 years of information stored in the subconscious part of your morphic field. If some of that informationis the result of synthesizing events, it was put there in layers over this 30 year period. Listening to the CDs accelerates the peeling away these layers and puts you on the road to getting closer and closer to your goals. It literallychanges the subconsciously stored information in your morphic field. The layers must be removed in layers because that’s the way theywere stored. Sometimes it is difficult for people with busy lifestyles to take 30 minutes out of their day to sit down and listen to a CD. I suggest thatthey buy a small portable CD player and place it on the headboard of their bed and turn it on before they drift off to sleep with the volumelow and hit the repeat button. You will derive similar benefits listening to the CD in this manner because although the conscious part of you morphic field cannot hear it,the subconscious part is getting it. You may also listen to the CD driving in your car; While jogging, Etc. All Mind Mastery programs are available at the HK website www.hk-relax.com, and Amazon.com.

Conclusion

It is said that “Adversity introduces a man to himself.” It is my wish that when you encounter adversity during the course of your life, thatyou will not only know where it came from, but allow you to constructively deal with it very effectively using HK and the disciplinesoutlined in this book. I don’t specifically know what you are going to have to do to create the lifestyle of your choice, but on some level of your awareness youdo. Using HK faithfully will help you peel away those blockages from your morphic field preventing you from accessing that informationso that you can realize the successful accomplishment of your goals. One thing I do know, you must absolutely accept responsibility for the experiences you create in your life. Please note that I don’t say thatso you can beat yourself up for all the chaos and turmoil in you life. When you externalize blame for what happens to you i.e., thegovernment, my boss, my spouse, etc., you will never get to the second stage of the change process which is: “If I am creating thisexperience what can I do to change it?” A funny thing happens when you ask yourself that question. Things start to change. Accepting responsibility for the experiences you createallows you to become objective and leaves a door open that will allow you to create positive change in your life. In closing, please remember that we are dealing with a tremendous amount of information in the subconscious part of your morphic fieldrelating to your belief system that has been stored over a period of many years. Please do your best to remain objective while using thisprogram. I trust that I have given you perspectives that will allow you to more fully understand how your morphic field which contains your Mindand brain influences the experiences you create in your life. And, that I have provided you with a perspective and remedy that can acceleratepositive changes for you that will help you create the lifestyle of your choice, and ultimately improve the quality of your life. A wise man once said that we can’t be Batman to all the Robins in the world. The only person you have the power to change is yourself. Please remember that everything is relative, and that among the blind, the one eyed man is King. “Relax.”
