ERICA Consortium Agreement

• Grant Agreement is an agreement between the EC and the 5 Beneficiaries (those hosting ESRs) who agree to deliver a research and training programme. The Grant Agreement was signed August 2017.

• The Grant Agreement sets out that the Beneficiaries will enter into a Consortium Agreement detailing inter‐alia day‐to‐day operating procedures, how they deal with disputes, and IPR etc.

• The Consortium Agreement was signed July 2018.

• FEI now TF did not agree the CA and did not agree the NDA proposed for this meeting

• Proposal: to discontinue relations with FEI.

• In general, it has been easier to recruit to the experimental projects rather than the numerical modelling projects.

• In general, we have found candidates are wary of applying to / accepting posts in the UK. We put this down to uncertainty surrounding BREXIT.

• Since all PhDs in Italy can start only on 1st November, the PhD registration and employment start date of ESR 2 hosted at UNIBO is out of synchronisation. Notwithstanding, all arrangements are in place to ensure that ESR2 can complete his PhD.
