In this climates rivers have a high, regular flow. The biggest equatorial river in the world is the Amazon.Vegetation is abundant in this regions with lots of plants speacies. This forested areas are known as jungle.Lots of trees grow very tall in search of sunlight. The main types of plants are trees, bushes, grasses and flowers.

In other equatorial places in the world, such as Indonesia, live some of the most rare and strange animals in the world. But this aninmals are in danger of extincion because humans are distroying their enviroment.
