Upgrading the e-Procurement System
• Improvement of the stability, accessibility and reliability of the application
• Further simplification of the business procedures
• Increasing the level of interactivity and feedback by the responsible institutions
• Obstacles:• insufficient training and the need for seminars
for the users of the application• lack of public awareness for existence of the
e-Procurement application and other e-services
8Zoran Janevski, Ph.D. Brussels, 25 May 2011
Improvement Measures
• Development of self-training electronic modules for the e-Procurement System (and for the procedures as well), especially for the e-Auction.
• User awareness raising and more trainings for the concept of digital certificate.
• Trust improvement, because the companies still expressed doubt that the implementation of e-Procurement system could help limit the corruption in the government institutions and improve their transparency.
