Schon mit zehn Jahren versuchte er sich auf dem Schlagzeug, später auf der Orgel und schließ-lich entdeckte er seine Liebe zu all den Vintage Keyboards und Synthesizern.

Inspiriert von Deep Purple, Uriah Heep, Pink Floyd und anderen Rockgrößen, ging der gelernte Maschinenbautechniker seinen musikalischen Weg weiter.

In Bands wie “No Bros“ und “Al-pendollar“ kreiert er nach wie vor Blues und Rock vom Feinsten. Bei “Alpendollar“, der seit über dreißig Jahren wohl bekanntesten Blues-Rock-Band aus Tirol, ist Andy seit zehn Jahren dabei. Auch als Studio- und Session-Musiker greift er immer wieder in die Tasten.

Er gilt zurecht als einer der begnadetsten Hammond-Virtuosen in Österreich. Eine andere Leidenschaft, die nur wenige an ihm ken-nen, ist das Produzieren von Electronic-Music. Mit den Sounds, die er aus diversen Synthesizern und Soundmodu-len zur Verfügung hat, bringt er immer wieder neue Kompositionen hervor. Diese Art von Musik, mit all der unendlichen Soundvielfalt, ist Balsam für seine Seele und sie hilft ihm Stress und Hektik am besten abzubauen.

Eintauchen in die Sphären der Electronic-Music ist für ihn einfach sehr wichtig, und das mit einem Glas Wein zu genießen – minde-stens genauso wichtig ist es für ihn aber auch, auf der Bühne zu stehen und richtig abzurocken!

ANDY BRUNNERAlready at the age of ten Andy tried to play the drums, later on the organ, and finally he discovered his favour for vintage keyboards and synthesizers. Inspired by big names as Deep Purple, Uriha Heep, Pink Floyd and other big groups Andy - a qualified mechanical engineer - went on traveling on his musical track. In bands like „No Bros“ and „Alpen-dollar“ he is creating and performing very fine rock and blues music.

Since ten years he is a member with „Alpendollar“ - the best know rockband in Tyrol since thirty years. He often is engaged to perform in recording studios and for sessions.

Correctly he is called, one of the best Hammond-player in Austria.Another passion of the artist - which is not know well - is producing elec-tronis music. He is composing songs by creating new sounds, out of his sound mo-dules and synthesizers. It’s puting balm on his soul and helps to relax and to come down when creating this kind of music, with endelss vari-eties of sounds. Epictrance - CD 11620
