The CZ & SK Market

General market situation: Total Market pot. ca. 800x (SK = ca. 300x) Amendment expected on RE Law, more support expected on processing

waste and products like grass (SK; heat concept!) Subsidy program EU will finish in 2013. In CZ probably already in 2012. More support expected for micro-net and gas upgrading (also for CBG).

Current status of the market: Actual number of biogas stations: ca 175 (SK ca 12x) Actual installed output: > 100 MW (SK > 10MW)

The Baltic Market (Latvia)

General market situation: Total Market is limited because of country size, recourses and most

important change in FIT + Subsidies for Biogas Facilities. Another amendment expected on RE Law....... Subsidy program EU will finish 2013. Projects with existing licences and already awarded FIT / Subsidies will

be build, afterwards sales will decline. LT might come with interesting RES Law.

Current status of the market: Actual number of biogas stations: ca 14 (running and under construction)

Actual installed output: ca 12 MW (running and under construction) Actual ET share of biogas on renewable sources of energy: 30%
