2. Where is Wentworth point ? Wentworth point is boarder by many popular places like Rhodes and Newington. There is also many train station and buses , which make it easy to travel. It is bordered by beautiful rivers and park. 3. Easy to access to places Rhodes surrounds Wentworth point , it is a area with a high humidity level. It has a lot of shop and easily to travel. Rhodes have there on train station and many bus stop through the roads. In our design of Wentworth Point at the entrance of the place there is a train station as well as a bus that goes down the street and out of Wentworth point. This makes it easy to access the city and Epping. This place is suitable fro busy mid age people and kids to travel to school or work. 4. Sustainability Principals Environment Aspects 5. Being sustainable It is important that the Wentworth point design is sustainable because it will help and benefit the local community that will be living there. It will cut down prices low income earners. The product will be reuse and has minimum impact to the environment. Be energy efficient and reduce waste for the buildings. The Wentworth point will be also more sustainable in the long term. The is benefit Wentworth point in the long term, which will help with the profit for the builders. 6. Principals In our Wentworth point design , all of the buildings have one same feature, it is that they are all made out of wood. They also all allow a huge amount of sunlight to enter the building and each of them have a solar panel. Also there is lots of open space for each building. All our buildings also each have glass wall around the garden area, to help the visitors feel more free compared to feeling trapped. 7. Environment For my building , each one will have solar panels on the roof to save electricity and protect the environment, the electricity is made out of coal or gas this will cause there more global warming Also I will use water tanks to save water and reduce water consumption . This will benefit the environment and well as reduce water bills. Also my buildings and designs will use energy efficient appliances to decrease the amount of power used in the house. 8. Aspect The building is structured in a squared shaped layer, it also has multiple layer to top of the building which make more area for the community to play. There is open space for the people to feel relaxed. There is many windows in the building to allow massive amount of light to the building. In the front of the building there is big word to let the visitors know from a distance where the discovery centre is located.
